Mucho Monday Updates....

How's everyone doing?

I got in a (brief) walk on the dreadmill. Hate that thing. Did abs and chest. Sore already. Love that.

Is it just me, or is it INSANE that we clean for the Cleaning Ladies???? They were supposed to be here at 11:00 (and still aren't), and I was running around trying to clean up and sweep up...

Finally getting a minute to sit down and enjoy my Special K with fresh sliced strawberries. Yum.

So, yesterday my DD says, "mom...how much weight have you lost...you're jeans are sagging in the butt". My first thought was it was actually my butt sagging in my jeans, but she was right. This morning I stepped on the scale...8 pounds down. How in the heck did that happen? And my tight jeans are now my comfy jeans. Surely it is a sign that something bad is about to happen! Decided to just accept it as the gift (or miracle) it is and go with it.

I'm behind in my water intake already...need to grab and a bottle and catch up.

Later, ladies! Have a great day!

Sassy

Margie, you will get back to it.Don't give up on yourself!!!It is hard to balance our needs and our familys.I'm glad you posted how you were feeling.I think we can all relate.

Truthfully some days when I'm in a slump and I read how motivated someone else is it really motivates me.But some days when I read it it sends me straight to the cookie jar!!!Sometimes I just have to know that others have all the normal ups and downs with fitness that I do!Been there, done that, have a whole bunch of T shirts :)

Love ya and love to see a post from you anytime about anything.

Why would you want saggin' jeans when you have cute waiters and service guys (not to mention a cute dh) flirtin' with you all day?

I did it. Finally, a good workout. Lasted 75 minutes - tread, UB and LB, and abs. Not a lot of weights, but enough to get me started back on the right road again.

Now, I'm hungry and need to eat something. Maybe I'll scramble some eggs.

Congratulations on those missing 8 lbs, Sassy. Let 'em stay lost!

Congrats to you and Kat on the weight loss! I've got the exercise will power, but not the proper eating willpower, so I've not lost those pesky 3-4 pounds that I want. I sometimes think I'm expecting too much - even last year when I was in such great shape, I was only 2 pounds (3 at most) lighter than I am now.

I ran 2.8 miles, including 2/3-3/4 up Big Hill. Ran it all in about 29+ minutes. Didn't get the other part of my workout in, but managed to push the borrowed steam vac across the kitchen floor - that needed some deep cleaning.
