I'm sippin' a cup of joe...it is yummy. The sun is shining. First time in weeks, it feels like, but it's only been 3 days. I'd never survive living in an area where the sun doesn't shine constantly.
Cleaning ladies are coming this morning. Had a flat tire yesterday. Didn't have phone numbers with them, yadda yadda. Going to be here at 8:15 this morning. Yippee! While they are here, I'm going to hit the treadmill and then hit the weights...triceps and biceps. Pecs are definitely letting me know I worked chest yesterday.
After the cleaning ladies leave, I'll hit the shower and head into work for the day. No baseball games on the schedule for tonight. I do need to go to Hallmark and get Mom's Day cards purchased and in the mail today. Might do that on my way into the office.
Have a great day!

Thinking about you today. I hope all goes well with the mammo today and really hoping Tim will get some answers from his tests. Keeping your dad in my thoughts and prayers as well.
Enjoy that concert this evening! Love that Earth Wind and Fire.

UB/LB and abs today. Other plans, shine the kitchen floors (cleaned them yesterday with the borrowed steam vac and diluted ammonia - they look great), run the steam vac in the heavily trafficked areas of the house, and enjoy some birthday cake which The Cus and Allison are making for me tonight!
Rhonda, with my parents' okay, I stopped getting Mothers' and Fathers' Day gifts. My parents interests are specialized, whenever they want something they go out and get it and so want for nothing, and the last thing they need is stuff for the house. Birthdays are difficult enough! The Cus and I don't exchange MD and FD gifts either (our respective birthdays fall within the week), and neither of us want Allison to feel obligated to gift us as she grows up, either. So... I'm not really any help!

And a big, hearty FOF thank-you to my Internet server, which lost my original message....which I can't remember....
Cool, breezy day here today. It almost feels fallish, but the sun is beautiful and bright. I'm going to try to take a walk at lunchtime, wind permitting. I have no deadlines, and unless someone creates an emergency that I am forced to adopt as my very own, it will feel like a working vacation day in the office.
Workout tonight? A cardio jog around Costco with a full cart. Nothing like waiting 'til you're into the last roll of toilet paper to go shopping! Real workout - a 30-min treadmill session, and freeweights for UB instead of the machine that I did last night.
Another day of healthy eating in store. Brought lunch and snacks from home, so no restaurant will tempt me. I'm not hungry for or craving anything at all. I don't know why that is; I'm not questioning it - just wondering when it will try to explode into a peanut-butter-cup-and-Twizzlers frenzy!
Rhonda - Wishing you a negative on the mammo re-do and Tim a test that rules everything out or finds a solid, treatable reason for his feeling so poorly.
Margie - Hope today is a turn-around day for you. You know you can do it, and I know it, too!
Have a great day, everyone - don't do anything I wouldn't do (and I have a long list ).....
