How did everyone do today, what did everyone do today?

I had a busy day but then again it feels like everyday is a busy one with me. Did my house cleaning early(wish I had a house cleaner to fire!), did some errands, walked 2 miles in 35 minutes with mom this morning, took a shower, had my nails done, picked Katie up from school and gave her the antibiotic, ran her to the dentist to have 2 cavities filled and then stopped at WW and weighed in. I did loose, but only 1.4 pounds. I know I should be happier but still I did behave all week long, and I had hopes of it being higher. Well it is still in the minus, right?

I've had a great day!Didn't get everything accomplished I had hoped to but did get my run and weights in.I have to say though that today working out was work!I had to really make myself stick with it and finish.

Cool here today but suppose to be in 80s and near 90 by the end of the week!!!!Love getting to listen to others whine about the weather :)

Hi gang!

Deb, 1.4 lbs. is perfect! Don't give up. That's a great job.

Patty, I got your card today. Thank you so much. I was very touched.

As for me, I had a blast this afternoon. I messed around here this morning and didn't get my cardio in that I wanted. Then I had to go to the grocery store, etc. When I got home I decided I didn't want to get on the Stairmaster today, so the boys and I took a quick walk down to one of the parks. Of course it started to drizzle with rain, but it was only light. Adam and I had races around the chip track, some sprinting, some slow jogging and some walking. When it really started coming down, we took cover. Me in the covered picnic area, he and Max in the playground equipment tunnel and played Rock/Paper/Scissors until it passed. I'd forgot how good it feels to get rain on my face. I know ....that's to laugh at living here in the Northwest, but I usually don't go out in the rain. It was still raining coming home, but we had a great game of Simon Says and I Spy. Didn't even notice we were getting wet! LOL So, I got more than the 30 minutes cardio I had planned.

The bad news is my pedometer is on the fritz. By the time we got to the park, it had only clocked 25 steps! DUH....I don't think so!!!! So, I guess I'll have to break out the piggy bank and head to Sportchek for a new one!!! Perhaps a new pair of walking capris too! Maybe like the Reebok ones in the commercial!!!

Having baked chicken breast wrapped in proscuitto, oven roasted veggies and green salad for dinner!!

The heck with hiring a housekeeper - I need to hire Shar as my personal chef!! Your dinners sound so good!!! I'm just having a homemade salad w/spinach, other leafies, grilled chicken (yes, again! Never tire of chicken - anything to help Her Majesty, too!), feta cheese, a small amount of walnuts and some raspberry vinaigerette dressing). I will let this digest and then later (about 8 p.m.) go to the fitness center to do my cardio. Had a great eating day & hope I do well on my workout.

That's the best kind of exercise in the world - running & playing with the kids! Sounds like my kind of blast!!

You know how to program a pedometer?? Another reason I need you around me! Last year, when we had a challenge, I bought one & never could figure it out! I'm hoping the McDonald's adult Active Meals have an elementary pedometer that's Kat-friendly. I read my VCR manual to figure out how to tape TV shows, and I have to get the manual out every time I want to tape a show!! I'm hopeless!

Hope you find a good pedometer & yeah, walking capris are necessary equipment!

That's great that you lost weight!!! I'm sure my scales are kinder to me than WW scales - my scales round off!!!

Congratulations, Deb & keep up the great job! You don't have alot to lose so it will be a gradual process - just as it is gradual when we gain lbs. Great walking workout time, too!

I know, I'll be snickering under my breath while all of these folks out here in humidity territory whine about the heat - I'll be basking (or should I say basting) in it!!! Why, most Southern girls attribute their dewy complexions to the humidity (what happened to mine, is what I ask)!

Our Jazzercise instructor bought some "old" routines going all the way back to 1997...and she put them in her set today.
