Tantilizing Tuesday Checkins........

How did everyone do today, what did everyone do today?

I had a busy day but then again it feels like everyday is a busy one with me. Did my house cleaning early(wish I had a house cleaner to fire!), did some errands, walked 2 miles in 35 minutes with mom this morning, took a shower, had my nails done, picked Katie up from school and gave her the antibiotic, ran her to the dentist to have 2 cavities filled and then stopped at WW and weighed in. I did loose, but only 1.4 pounds. I know I should be happier but still I did behave all week long, and I had hopes of it being higher. Well it is still in the minus, right?

I meant to post to you that your halibut recipe sounded so good!! Yes, Danny wanted a Starbucks frappuccino (decaf) today, but decided he'd get the strawberry one. He said it was ok, but likes the decaf coffee flavored ones better. Like mommy like son!! I love their soy decaf lattes!!! Double YUM!!! We try not to splurge on Starbucks too often - I sneak a latte once a week. I need to try to make one with my espresso maker - I bet that Vanilla Soy Silk stuff would work.

Your Jazzercise class sounds so fun with all of that great music!

I'm sure that Target guy loves to see you when it's picture developing time!

You're such a great organizer! I'm sure the RAGS committee members will appreciate it.

I'm doing a check-in for ds - he did weighted squats (115 lbs.!!!), weighted lunges, leg curls (80 lbs.), etc. besides jumping jacks, sit ups, pushups. I'll never complain about weights workouts again!

Thanks everyone for the congrats, means alot to hear that. Hubby came home and asked how I made out. Informed him of the numbers and he was happy for me too. He said just think, if I loose 1 pound a week, I will be 10 pounds lighter going into the summer, now that put a smile on my face.

Tomorrow its back to counting points, and hopefully a quick 2 mile tape before work.

I know about those Starbucks splurges...they add up don't they?? That's why I thought the Starbucks cards for my sisters for Mother's Day would be a fun gift.

Well, I got thru a mile before I did something to my ankle (it hurts right now), so I just walked the rest. Hope it doesn't hurt tomorrow. I will just do a power walk tomorrow as it's supposed to be a rest day.

1.4 pounds is great! I'd love to see that drop on my scales. I can't expect more than 1 pound every 10 days when I'm trying to lose a few.

Didn't work out at all yesterday, but I shined up the kitchen floors and pushed the steam vac around all but 2 rooms. My throat felt raspy all day, and looks like it's still feeling that way today.

Had a nice birthday though - a little b'day money from my folks and MIL, and Dan got me a personal CD player designed for working out/running. Can't wait to try it out! Al and Dan made the cake - chocolate with vanilla icing and LOADS of sprinkles, compliments of Allison. It was cute to hear the two of them making it over the last two evenings, laughing over things like the chocolate cloud that floated over the bowl when Allison dumped the mix in all at once. Dan iced the sides of the cake, and both of them frosted the top. There were chocolate crumbs all through the white icing, but to me it was a beautiful cake for what went into it, and it sure didn't affect the taste!

Good weigh-in, Deb! 1.4 is about right for steady weight loss. Stick with it, and remember your hubby's comment about 1 lb a week = 10 lbs by summer. Guess he's not "dopey" anymore!

WTG!
