Bad day, I need chocolate!

Hey there everyone. I have an entire day worth of posts to read and catch up from this morning. Went off to work with a smile and came home crying. My boss, Steve told me this morning he and his family are going to sell their house and relocate to an area right outside Richmond, Virginia. He goes to to tell me that he and his wife have been talking about moving for several months and in Feb he actually started sending out resumes. Remember 2 weeks ago I ran the office while he was "out of town"? Well he was down there, I guess interviewing. They must have offered him the job on Monday. So it looks like my perfecjob is going to be over before it really began. He told me he will be starting his new job on August 2nd and I was welcome to work right through July for him. I have such mixed feelings. Part of me is upset and angry.......someone forgot to tell this man its all about "ME". The other part of me understands and wishes him and his family well. Bill and I discussed the situation and more then likely I will work through July, take off August to be home for the rest of the summer with the kids and then look for work again in August to hopefully start something in Sept. Bill is very optimistic about how things will work out. But its still upsetting. So that is my news.......my tummy hurts, I did not exercise, nor do I feel like it. I want some chocolate and that last Easter bunny is calling my name. But do not worry I do not want that 1.4 pounds back that I lost from last week. Thanks for listening to my whining!

Just getting to this one and Deb...just have to say I'm just in awe of the wonderful advice the ladies gave you already.
So, eat a choc bar or two and tell yourself that this is an OPPORTUNITY! Now you have experience under your belt! This was a job you enjoyed, but the next one will probably be even better because you will know more about what YOU are looking for while you job shop and interview. You are in the driver's seat girl!
Hugs :)

I know you will find something else soon & since your employer is happy with your work, you will get good references.
Hugs,
Kat
Hi Deb,
I know I'm coming in late on this but I wanted to give you my 2 cents too.
