Is anyone going to watch the final

episode of Friends? I feel as though I should, because it's entertainment history, and I'll be one of the few who didn't if I don't. It'll be nice to see all the loose ends tied up.

I am not going to watch it. I usually watch Survivor on Thursdays while I am on the computer. DH hates David Schwimmer so he won't watch it and I am in the same room. I am actually happy the final espisode is finally going to be on so I don't have to watch the promos anymore. It reminds me of all the hype with the final Sienfeld episode. Didn't really watch that either. I guess I am going to be one of the few who didn't watch it.

I'm glad Ross and Rachel got together and that Monica and Chandler got twins, but the actual episode was pretty anti-climatic after all the hype leading up to it. I would like to see the cast on Jay Leno's show tonight.
Now, if all those stupid Van Helsing previews would just go away! I don't think I've ever seen a movie whose previews have run longer in the theaters and then on TV than for this one. Plus, it's one of those far out monster things that relies on tons of special effects. Yuck!

I didn't watch it for the hype, the end-of-an-era promos, or anything else - just as a fun show whose characters grew and changed over time (although they did kind of stall this year). I really enjoyed it.
Now when "Frasier" ends, I might get teary. For all the show's ups and downs, that cast has been outstanding and the writing has mostly been the smartest of the sit-coms on tv.
Grace, by the time "Seinfeld" came to an end, I found every one of those characters among the most annoying and selfish portrayed on tv. Totally unfunny. I didn't watch the final show, either; I watched only sporadically the last four seasons.

I hardly get to watch any sitcoms anymore but I do get a kick out of both Frasier (I've never been disappointed in Frasier) & Will & Grace (my guilty pleasure - who can forget the Cher & the waterbra episodes?) Debra Messing (sp?) reminds me a little of Lucille Ball.
