Ooooh, how neat! Have lots of fun on your biking jaunts!! I bet Italy is gorgeous in the spring! Now I'm dreaming of Italian fields of flowers, villas, authentic Italian foods . . . oh no!!

Tell us all about your first venture out on it.

Alex and I rode together to the gelateria (ice cream shop). then he rode home and went off to the old roman highway and rode for about 6 km, then turned around and rode home...

it was a gorgeous day - just cool enough but not cold. the bike handles like a dream - i figured out how to make it shift, and it feels light and nimble without feeling like it's gonna break as soon as i hit a pothole... which is important cuz there are a lot of potholes around here... ;-) i need a girls seat though - the one on now is definitely a boys seat.

i'm gonna go for a ride in the morning...

so - for those of you ladies who wear bike shorts - are you supposed to wear undies underneath? or just, erm, the bike shorts... ?
