Hi everyone! How did your day go? Did you do something fun or productive or that was good for you or someone else? Let's hear about it.

I took Rob and friend to the beach this morning. It was beautiful out, but it was an incoming tide day and I was pretty tired from going to bed at 2:30 and getting up at 8, so I was pretty lackadaisical about looking for sharks' teeth.

A so so productive day here. Normal house cleaning, my morning stroll with Katie and the dog, we ran and bought gift certificates for both moms for their nails and then over to the grocery store. Loaded up on my cold cuts and soda for the track tomorrow. Bill worked all day on Robbie's car and he got it running, but not right. He hopes to fine tune it at the track with the help of a few other dads there. Heading off to bed in a second just waiting for the dog to finish up outside. I did not do well today in my eatting so I am sure I will pay the price for that. Tomorrow will be better, sliced red peppers already and hard boiled a half doz. eggs. Going to pick up some salads, like last time. Thats my day........oh Katie got a hermit crab from my FIL. Yikes! Just what we needed in this house, like the dog, fish and hamster are not enough.

I did a 30 min. walk after eating dinner. I worked all day, had lunch at 12 (too early!) and didn't get off until 6 p.m. I hate going without food for almost 6 hours! Anyway, I'm exhausted & I still need to do my strength training/circuits. My ankle still hurts & I may just do the strength moves without the cardio drills. What a wimp am I!!!

Had a great eating day and am determined to keep that up, too. I want my cholesterol to be lowered by mid-June. Had a small plate of baked fish, brussel sprouts (gosh, I like them, now!!!), and sauteed mushrooms and a small fruit salad for lunch. Dinner was a Oriental Chicken Salad (1/2 portion) from Applebees.

Well, I did my 5 miles. I didn't run the entire way, but still made it in under 55 minutes. Walked most of the way up Big Hill, and walked a bit more after mile 4. It was already up in the low 80s in the sun when I finished running at about 10:30am - I hope it's cooler at 8:30 next week for the race, because the heat doesn't make for good running. At least not for me.

Did my grocery list and then grocery shopping. The rest of the day I spent doing next to nothing - my head is draining and I'm coughing a lot. Tried to nap (didn't sleep well the night before) and couldn't. I hope this cold is on the way out.

It was a beautiful day here.I had just the right mix of work and play. Both sisters walked with me although one bailed out early on us.

I did a LB workout yesterday and feel it today. Which tells me I need to do it more often.

No, don't feel that way, Phyllis.
