You are not bad and focusing on yourself can be a very good thing. We should all do it more often.I hope the weeks ahead bring you fewer struggles.I also hope you know how much I care about you and keep you in my thoughts.

Hey Miss Patty,

No New Balance Store today, but that's okay. We had Dim Sum. My boys were wonderful, but can't say the same for the nephew. He actually was so rude to his mother she started crying!! 'nough said about that!!

After Dim Sum we took a walk through the open air market. I think this is the first weekend of the year for it. It runs all summer. Then we headed off to the park. The boys had a blast and dh and I just laid back and relaxed for awhile. Then it was off to do some beach combing and check out the tide pools! Lots of fun watching the little crabster scurry off when you pick up the rocks. Came home, went and visited dd at the hospital. She's getting pretty fed up. She's been on clear fluids since Thursday and is starving. Making her very grumpy indeed, poor girl! Oldest dd went to visit her too and took cards, so she was going to keep her company for awhile after I left. Also her dad sent a MP3 player for her, so dh programmed it up last night.

My oldest ds should be in Donna's neck of the woods right about now. He and his S/O were flying into Boston on the way to Cambridge. She has a job interview there.

Just relaxing with a nice glass of red wine. Gonna chop up the veggies and fire up the barbie in a few minutes.

Definitely got my 30 minutes of walking for the challenge in today!!

Thanks, Pattycakes. Yes, I got some new workout clothes - running shorts in hot pink and and a skimpy straps workout top in white. Doesn't it make you feel good to get new workout clothes? Love it when I splurge on those. I went crazy at Academy today & also bought some cute khaki overall shorts, khaki shorts, and for ds a new bass fisherman shirt & some cargo shorts he can wear fishing. I was happy that the medium khaki stuff fit me & I don't have to get a larger size. We ended up eating Scampi. I'm stuffed and am going to really have to work out hard to atone! LOL!

DS caught about 10 fish with his dad, so he's happy, too. I rented "The Last Samurai" and "Calendar Girls". I'm going to veg out, now.

Wow, you are so kind to me!!!You always say the nicest things.I love reading the posts and responding is my way of "talking" with my girlfriends! :)

Lately I've felt so blessed in my life and the people that are a part of it.I'm trying hard to not take things for granted.I'm also trying to make sure I let the people who bring so much to my life know special they are to me and that certainly includes this group!!!

Tell the Queen the Princess gets clipped this week too!!!
