Yikes!

Good idea to look for a partner. Maybe one that carries a big stick, stun-gun, etc. Those things have been known to jump on the backs of bicyclists, too. So glad you are being cautious.

Yep, I did! It helps that we have a new *working* AC in the bonus room where I do my routines. Got in the complete LB & UB workout, including a segment that I seldom work all the way through on the LB. I'm up to 16 pushups on my toes - lovin' that feeling! Then I did some abs work with Mr. Tony, though I'm slowing the pace to work my muscles harder (not the time - time is about right considering that most are done in 4 sets of 10-20 reps, etc.).

Allison was pretty cute. She asked me if I was going to do the Samba from one of my Firm tapes. It's one she likes because it's a catchy tune and catchy moves. Since I run for my cardio these days, I don't use that tape very much aside from warm ups, so we haven't seen that one for a while. I decided "what the heck" and I forwarded the tape to the Samba work out. I gave her the small segment of the Fanny Lifter, took the taller one for myself and we Samba'd together! She's starting to get a sense of rhythm, and found it much more fun than she ever has. After it ended, she turned to me with a big grin and hollered "AGAIN!" I played it for her a second time while I did warm ups for my UB work.

Good idea to not go hiking by yourself. You never know what might happen.

Yes, I made it happen today.I did an upper and lower body workout. And I got outside for a long run this morning. The weather was perfect and my sister had gotten me a Credence Clearwater greatest hits cd which I love. Made the time flew by and I got 7 miles in.I enjoyed every minute of it.

Sure did Phyllis! Taught the Pilates class with the ring and then shot over to another gym to use the weight machines with a member. I also spent an hour scouring the area for dd's kitty that got out. Finally she came back and just sauntered into the house. I was crazed looking for her because she is an indoor cat.

How scary about the mountain lion sighting. I saw some stuff about that on the news on and off. I think I would have cancelled my trail run too.

Glad you're cautious about the trails. You need to pick up a trail runner to go along with you!

Oh yeah! Even though it was spitting with rain, Max and I walked over to get Adam from school. Max was in the buggy, so I could move at a pretty good pace. Enough that my heart rate was right up there by the time we arrived. Going to do some strength training this afternoon.

Eating has been right on so far. I don't know how I missed it last time round doing SBD, but I'm addicted to roasted veggies these days. My favourite is to have a couple of tablespoons of tzatziki to dip them in. Last night's mix was red and yellow peppers, a zucchini, a carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, asparagus, and onions. Sprinkled them with garlic powder, onion powder and salt and pepper. Absolutely delicious with steak and prawns!! My roasting pan was chock full and there was only a small ziploc container left for lunch today.

Dinner tonight....chicken and............roasted veggies!!! LOL

Roasted veggies are awesome! Had a pile for lunch today with some chicken. Yum. Your mix sounds like what I make - except I started leaving out the onions because I always ended up adding too many. When you're feeling brave enough to eat sweet potatoes, cut them up into chunks and toss them in, also. Delish!

Sure did! Finished my workout at about 9. Had a light dinner, and here I am posting before I pop into the shower. Actually threw in a few running intervals during my cardio, which I have not done in a while. Did the first mile in just under 12 min. Did 3 mi total. Really good LB and ab workout, too.

I think I overdid it today. I am tired and really sore from working for hours sitting in the dirt and using a hatchet to dig up grass and tons of tree roots to prepare the ground for a flower bed and a palm tree. I chopped and pulled roots, helped rake and bag more leaves, and went to Home Depot to get 2 kinds of paint. I got in to Mom and Dad's before 11 and didn't get home until a little after 8. I've soaked in Epson salts water and taken Motrin. Now I need to tape magnets to strategic areas of my body. I had hoped to start planting today, but there was just too much prep work needed.

I'm taking the day off tomorrow. Scary Kerry is having an appearance at The Jacksonville Landing, and
