Good morning! What are you determined to do today? What's it like in your neck of the woods? What's the latest and greatest with your families?
Make it a good one!

Warm and humid already this morning. Heading to HOT and humid. Bleck. Working all day today. Coaching Sarah's volleyball game tonight. Boys both have baseball tonight. DH started his new job detail. It's a huge responsibility...lead on logistics for the Coast Guard's new Deepwater project. Not a promotion, and still needs to keep up with his "real job". Just a detail for a year while the person in the position has back surgery and then goes to school for 10 months. DH is so stressed out already and yesterday was the first day! It's going to be a tough 12 months.
No workout planned today. I'm not sure what my problem is. Had two great workouts Saturday and Sunday and positively no interest yesterday or today. No guilt, either. Too much going on.

I'm not the one to be giving anyone a kick in the butt. I should be on the receiving end!! Maybe you just need a little break with all you have going on. Hope Russell gets a chance to do a little de-stressing too.
Somehow I missed the post about Sarah's birthday. Was this the big 1-3? Please tell her I said Happy Birthday.

One thing I am going to do is run uptown and pick up easy, quick healthy foods to have on hand.I'm very bad for getting really hungry and then just eating anything/everything.
Not sure what my workout will be.Thinking a run outside but feel like I should mix it up.I'll see what my mood is when I come out of chicken land.
Donna, love my pic of George!Deb, share George??????
Sunny and hot here again today, loving it!

My interview for volunteer work went well. After orientation next Monday, I start working in the Health Information Management (H.I.M.) Department otherwise known as Medical Records. There is quite a bit involved and besides the patient, is the center of their livelihood. I think this will serve as a good foundation as I continue my education in clinical coding and billing over the next year and a half.
Today, I have lots of things planned: homework, workout with weights and spin, shop for comfortable-yet-stylish shoes, do a little shopping online, oh, and need to find a new Dentist.
You all have a great day and I’ll check back later.

Tenacious Tuesday-I like that! We had some big thunderstorms and torrential downpours come through our neck of the woods last night, the flash of the lightning and the thunder kept waking me up. I don't think the weather has quite made up its mind this morning-but think it's going to be a warm one. Tonight is another visit to the doctor for yet another blood test. Always on my mind of what they'll come up with next.
Workout was a WATP tape. Sure glad we got the basement smelling better. DH was kept very busy cleaning out a backed up sink in the upstairs bathroom last night and neither one of us can figure what he stirred up down here-but it sure wasn't pleasant! The owner of the window company came by yesterday and agreed in very explicit language that the guy didn't do the job correctly and the guy who did the front window will be coming to undo what the other guy messed up. Our front window looks great. We had an overhang put over a 5 window bow window and it really changes the whole look of the house. Now if we could just light a fire under the siding guy.
That's about it for this neck of the woods. I need to get the kitchen straightened up and some laundry folded before the other work day begins. Hope you all have a great day.
Lori-hope things improve for Aaron. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers. And hope they find some medication that helps you out.

*Be thinking of my Dad :^). He's in Mexico for a Spanish Immersion course, which is basically 2 weeks of living with a local family, using the Spanish he has learned in recent courses. He arrived safely, said via e-mail that the first 12 hours have been very interesting. I joked with him & Mom before he left that if he comes back 10 pounds lighter, we'll know he didn't do too well! LOL!

We have promise of a muggy, warm day (mid 80s) and possible T-storms this evening. For a change, I paid attention to the forecast and dressed for it, so I'm nice and comfortable, but if the rain and wind comes earlier rather than later, I will drown on the way to the train. I hope my umbrella holds up for another couple of days until I can get a backup.
I am determined......to get my 2nd consecutive workout done. It'll be cardio and UB tonight. Then I can take tomorrow off. I've already started working on DH to come into the city after work so we can have a nice seafood dinner and McCormick & Schmick's right nearby and take a stroll around the area before heading home.
I have an easy stretch ahead of me at work - no deadlines that I know of for almost 2 weeks, although that can change at a moment's notice.
Have a great day, everyone!
Donna
