So what are you up to today? Are you jump starting your mid week?Slowing it down so you can make it thru the rest of the week? Are you tackling a new project or breaking an old habit?Hmm, I should focus on the old habit one!
Not sure about my workout today.Either a short run outside or a walk on the treadmill later.Today is haircut day.I would love to cut it and change my look.Well it's not that I really want to cut it but I want to change something in my life and that is the quickest thing I can chnage.Makes perfect sense , right?
Lori, sorry to hear of your sons job loss.BNL, hope you get some answers soon.Sassy, hope life slows down some for you.Come down to the farm with me.Shar, how did the piniata go?
Have a great day everyone!I hope you all wake up to a Wonderful Wednesday!!!!!!

Good morning PT and everyone-
I keep typing and then deleting not really knowing what to say.
Good morning! I sure didn't feel like getting up when the alarm went off this morning. Phyllis, how can you be behind at 4:28?? The only thing I'm behind at that time of morning is my covers or maybe an extra pillow! I don't know how you do it. Hats off to you!
Most of my day today will be spent working at a sale that will benefit the American Cancer Society. A company called Far East Brokers has donated all of their samples for a big sale, and all the profits go to the ACS. It should be neat, because they have all kinds of holiday and seasonal decorations, furniture, home accessories, and toys, among other things. I'm not sure exactly what I'll be doing during the sale, but I'll find out when I get there this morning.
Patty, do you have a picture or particular style in mind for a haircut? I'm the same way when I want a change. The easiest, least permanent thing to change is my hair color and/or style. If you do anything major, we'll want to see a picture, you know.
Have a wonderful Wed. everyone!

Time invested in improving ourselves cuts down on time disapproving of others.

The boss is heading out of town today until Saturday night which is 1) good and 2) also busy for me. I'm going to focus on the "good" part mostly :) A leisurely morning. Once I get the darlings all off to school, I'll pound the pavement or hit the treadmill. Then it will be abs and biceps and triceps. I have a hair appointment at 10:00 then I'll hit the office. Lunch with the girls today, too. After that, I'll be back in the office for a bit.
Phyllis, keeping Rajuan and the family in my prayers and thoughts today.

My heart goes out to Rajuan and to the family. This must be a very difficult time for all of you. Prayers for Rajuan for a warm and loving foster family and for all of you with whatever decisions are to be made.
Hugs,
Susan
Patty, I'm glad you set the record straight about the day of the week because this is the 2nd week in a row that I've woken up on Wednesday thinking it was Thursday-wishful thinking I guess.
It is a beautiful day here and going to be another summer like day. Workout was a quick 1+ mile on the treadmill and then weights. Today is DD's last observation in the classroom before finding out whether she will be receiving tenure. She was a bit overwhelmed finding out the principal instead of the assistant principal would be doing the observation. But went out of the house feeling a bit nervous but confident and keeping a smile on her face. Hoping all goes well for her as she really puts her heart and soul into her teaching. Nothing much else on my agenda and definitely nothing new and exciting.
Hope everyone is waking up or has woken up to a Wonderful Wednesday!
Susan
Anyway, you all have a good day.

I'm going to slow it down even more today - slow work day ahead and an evening off from exercise. If the weather holds out - and it's looking less promising as the minutes go by - suburban boy DH is coming into the big bad crazy city for dinner with me this evening. Seafood or red-sauce Italian are the choices - I'm amazed, he was opting for seafood this morning. I remember when Wednesday used to be "Prince Spaghetti Day" around here.
All my chaotic work efforts haven't been for nothing - found out we won a quick-response job for which we finished and submitted a proposal within 2 days last week. We've short-listed on three others, and we're positioned well to win all of them. I asked if I could take the rest of the summer off, but I don't think anyone heard me....
Have a wonderful day, everyone! Follow through on your workout plans - it's worth it...
Donna
Hugs,
