It's Thankful Thursday. Are you counting your blessings today? What do you have to be thankful for?

What's on your agenda today for workout, food, activities, etc.? How's everyone feeling?

Hope it's a great day for you all!

Good Morning.

I'm thankful for my husband. He's going through a very stressful time and I'm very proud of him.

Off to the National Zoo with youngest DS today and his class. Going to be hazy, hot & humid. Should be back around 1:30 and I'll head straight to the office for a couple of hours. Baseball and volleyball on the agenda for this evening.

i'm thankful that it was a moped and not a truck that took out my bike tuesday, for my sweet Alex being so wonderful, for my son hitting his first double in baseball, for pain meds, for feeling a bit less painful than yesterday...

i'm taking another day to recuperate... i am feeling better today than yesterday. i'm hoping to talk Alex into a run out to IKEA tomorrow - i want to find a filing cabinet so we can get me set up to work in his office... i think i'll be more productive there.

hope everyone is having a good day. it's grey and rainy here... yuck. perfect to match my mood.

Thankful for the freedom to worship. Thankful that my Mom made it hear safely and that we're having such a great visit. Thankful my dad made it safely to Mexico. Thankful for HEALTH (even though I still have this darned cold). Thankful that my husband is so spontaneous!

After having a rest day from exercising, I'm planning to run for 3 miles today, along with some UB work and abs exercise. Allison is going to go over to her friend's house today, and Mom & I will be hitting a consignment shop or two. For reasons I'm not quite sure of, I'm tired today, so maybe a nap is also in order.

Haven't decided what to fix for dinner tonight - maybe we'll just stick with sandwiches.

Good Morning,

It's the 3 H's here today-hazy, hot and humid. I really had to scramble to find something to wear. All the new outfits have been worn and hadn't dug out the summer stuff yet-so had to do some hunting this morning. I was awake in plenty of time to put a little more effort into a workout, but somehow the body just didn't quite have the same thought pattern. Otto's whining for breakfast (he's so like me!) finally got me up and going to have enough time to get in a WATP tape. Hopefully the T-storms will hold off until after the evening walk with Otto, but it's not sounding promising.

Thankfuls:

1. A doctor who actually called me with test results. Although I would have loved to hear 100% in the clear I feel very positive in what he told me and feel that I can breathe a sigh of relief.

2. A great observation day for my DD and Another A and holding her 4.0 towards her Masters Degree.

3. A company that will admit a worker's poor workmanship and sending somebody to fix the job.

I'm running really behind this morning and time to crack myself with the whip. Hoping you all enjoy your day and that it brings you good things and positive thoughts.

Good morning everyone!I'm thankful for several days of feeling good. Also thankful for sunshine and warm temps.

Just got back from the track. A friend called at 6:30 to meet her there. We walked for awhile and then I ran on my own.Yesterdays run was lousy but today was much better.Sometimes a workout really is work and I hate those days. Some days it's fun, energizing and cheap therapy, love those days.

Not sure what the rest of the day holds. I'm positive feathers are involved.I'm thinking some hammock time should be in there somewhere too.

I've decided today will be chip free.Surely I can be disciplined for ONE day!!!!!!

Good morning!

So far sunshine and warming temps. Storms on the horizon - I heard about big rainfall expected in the Midwest and Plains. I know the farmers can use it; I hope it's safe there's no flooding there, or here.

Thankfuls? In few words, for what I have. In the grand scheme of things, I'm 99.5% happy with my life and all that it holds. So many people I work with have had such tragedy and trouble this past year, my issues are hangnails in comparison.

Workout tonight is cardio, LB and abs. The "Frasier" retrospective will be my company while I'm dungeon-bound. That, and the hum of the washer and dryer.

Food? Wendy's Mandarin Chicken salad for lunch - it's been on my mind for a couple of days. Dinner? I'm going to surprise us. I have no clue.

Lori - Love the "pupdate". I can picture your beloved beasts so clearly in my mind I feel I know them. I think it's wonderful that Aaron is bearing up so well in the face of this latest challenge. He'll come out of it well - his attitude will go a long way to help.

Susan - Congratulations to your daughter on her successful observation. I knew she'd ace it.

Cussette - I'm thrilled you're having a great visit with "Mimi". I'm sure it means the world to Allison to have her there, too. Your father sounds like a stitch - hope his visit to Mexico is safe and enlightening.

Patty - A day that involves feathers? You'll make it a fun one.

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Anna - Sounds like you're recovering. Alex must be providing a lot of TLC; enjoy it! And have fun at Ikea. We're Ikea-deprived here in Boston - not a one in the region. They're trying to build one in a town just north of Boston, but there's huge opposition to another "big box" development in the area.

Sassy - Russell's got a tough assignment. I hope he can settle into it and the stress eases up for all of you soon.

Nancy - Sorry to hear about your cold; I hope you can get some relief from it. If you need something other than OTC drugs, get them - my cold was miserable and lasted for a month.

I'm also sorry to hear about your friend's passing. It sounds like he was a wonderful man. I'm sure he'd be thrilled to know what it means to you to have had him in your life.

Hugs,

Donna
