Nancy, so sorry to hear that you're still not feeling well. Hope you're feeling better for your company.

Yep, done with the paying work and now I think I'm officially done with the after work day. It was a pretty good day, the work day flew by which is always a good thing especially on a Friday. I have a new job responsibility at work, not sure how much I'm going to like it but I do like diversity. I went grocery shopping and got most of the groceries in the house for the week. The guy was here to finish up the inside molding around the window and it really looks nice although my vertical blinds hide it as they're a little too big for the window. We'll be resheetrocking during the summer and will wait until the room is officially finished before I decide what to do about window treatments. But at least the furniture is back in place, a week's worth of mail sorted through, and I have ribs slow cooking in the oven, you then rub some seasoning into them, refrigerate them overnight and then make a bbq sauce and grill them. In between it all Otto and I took a nice walk.

Hope your Friday treated you well.

Susan

I hope you feel better soon, Nancy. It's no fun having company when you're not feeling up to it.

I had a good day at work, and a good workout day. I walked about 4 miles around Boston today. I met a coworker along the train line this morning and we walked a bit more than a mile into work. Then tonight we walked that same route, plus about another mile and a half to a train station a little further out of the city. I'm going to stretch in a bit.

Tomorrow when the Star gets here, I'll go to the dungeon and do a quick warmup on the treadmill and some UB work to get that out of the way. Dinner at TGIFriday's and mini-golf are on the agenda for Saturday. We'll see what the weather holds for Sunday; forecast is looking like rainy and 70-ish, so that will be the better day for a photo op, when climbing into a pair of tights might be less uncomfortable, followed by a visit to the Clayroom for some creative painting therapy and chill-time.

I had a fantastic Friday!!!First I jumped on the scales and saw I was down 2 pounds.I got in a run this morning and took a short walk tonight.DH was home so I was able to take some time off from CL.Since we're having unusually hot weather it's harder to get away. It's day 2 with no chips but frankly I don't see it lasting much longer. And now BNL has me hungry for BBQ....

Hi everyone. I had a really good day today. Got a bit of housework done this morning, picked up ds from school then headed over to the hospital to pick up dd! Yeah!!! She's home. At least for the time being. She's feeling much better and looking much better too. She can't wait to sleep in her own bed.

To celebrate we went to Mickey D's. I ordered a "Go Active Happy Meal"....Thai grilled chicken salad, bottle of water and a "stepometer". Oh yeah! It's a basic little puppy, but it's gonna do just fine until I can get a real one!! I remember reading about Bob Greene teaming up with them. I guess this is some of the result. It's nice to be able to go in and order something healthy.

I came home and got much of the back yard set up for tomorrow. Warned the neighbours we'd have a yard full of screaming banshees! I don't believe I'm saying this, but I think I might be looking forward to this party!! What the heck? I know it's all about control and I have this delusion that I am actually in control of what happens! Have a list of stuff that needs doing and a few hands to help!

I had my hair coloured, highlighted and cut today. The highlights aren't as light as last year. More of a golden colour. The next time I go back we're going to put a few more lighter ones and so on, and so on... But, it's short like I wanted. The spooky thing is that the colour of the highlights reflects in my eyes and they look really golden. It's kind of weird. DD told me it makes me look much younger and dh likes it, so I'm happy.

I probably won't post again until tomorrow afternoon (if they haven't committed me by then!)

My day of eating started out alright, but I'm now sitting having dh's beer (because he had to go out and do a call). As for steps, I rolled the stepometer over at 10,000 steps with all the running around today and setting up! Working on the second 10,000!

Nancy and Donna, hope you two are feeling better soon. I felt terrible on Wednesday night. Nasty scratchy throat, headache, and achey. Feverish and headachey yesterday, but throat was better. Today I feel fine! Weird!

Have a good evening ladies!

The new highlights sound "bewitching".
