Good morning everyone. It's amazing how you guys pop into my head each morning and I wonder how everyone is and what their day will hold.Thinking about Nancy and hoping she is feeling better.Hope the birthday party goes well, Shar.Rhonda, will your sister go with you to the beach? Can I come too????Donna, enjoy your time with the "Star".Kat, are by any chance off? What's everyone else up to?
No plans here today. Sister can't make a walk so I have to go it alone.Need to do some weights too.The house is begging to be cleaned.Think I'll stay outside so I can't hear it :)
Hope everyone finds time to relax and enjoy themselves today.Take care.

Good morning Princess-
Don't ya hate it when the house starts pleading with you like that.
Nope, have to work all weekend. BUT, next weekend I'm off!! DS has another game tonite at 6, so I will get to see it after I get off at Dillard's. They played a doubleheader yesteday - won 1 and lost 1. They no longer have ds' services as pitcher, and to be honest, when he's in fine form pitching, the game is pretty much won. Poor kid's arm where he injured it a couple of years ago is hurting again.
Well, I'm off to drink my coffee, wake up, and do my strength training before work.
Have a lovely Saturday, everyone.
Quiet morning here. "Slept" in until 8:00. As if one can sleep in a house consisting of a DH, three kids and two dogs. I love to lie in bed and listen to them all moving about.
It is 75 degrees here already. Humid, too. But DH and I are going to head out for a stroll to the lake and back. Looks like youngest DS will tag along on his bike since the older two aren't home.
Cleaning and working around the house is on the agenda for the day. Both boys have baseball games tonight. Overlapping.
Have a great Saturday!

Patty, congratulations on that 2lb loss! Fantastic!
It is an absolutely gorgeous day here. Went for a lovely walk this morning. I was hoping for 3+ but had to settle (according to the pedometer) 2.9. My hip was whispering discomfort and before it turned into a full throttle scream and being uncomfortable for the next 2 days I head home. The walk was still great and it's just so nice to be outside walking.
Wish I could put in earplugs and not hear the house screaming to be cleaned but I think it's time to get things in order around here. DH has some plumbing things to take care of this morning so I won't have any water but unfortunately vacuum cleaners don't require water. We still have to make decisions on bathroom wall and floor tile and a bathroom vanity and countertop and fixtures. I'm finding this all very confusing and I thought I had made my mind up but am having 2nd thoughts on the colors I selected so I think I'll go back to the drawing board before I make a decision that I'll have to live with for a long time and maybe regret.
Oldest DD will be making her first trip to the beach with her BF for the season. Can't say that I'm not jealous-because I am :)
Shar-hope the birthday party is a huge success and that you survive with all the banshees and that you can sit and relax with a nice glass of wine afterwards! Glad to hear DD is fnally getting out of the hospital! Hope she's 100% real soon. Your hair sounds really nice. Highlights are the one thing I've never tried. I have tried lots of shades of brown though-including those that tended towards the red side!
Donna-have a great weekend with the "STAR"!
Nancy-hope you're feeling better today.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Mornin' all.

Arrrgh! I just lost a long post on this.
Patty, congratulations on your 2 lb. loss!! Your solution to housework sounds like mine.
Spent most of the day at a very successful Armed Forces Day service. Don't have it in me to detail it all again. Tim and Rob had some time together at the beach. T. said he can tell he's out of shape. I was tired and actually passed on going, so got a roast started and took a nap.
Hope everyone has been having a good Saturday!
