Good Morning,

It's a gray damp day here in NY. Sorry, nothing new and exciting to report. Just back to work at work Monday.

Workout was one of my WATP videos, have laundry chug a lugging, gotta get on the phone with Sears and see who the lucky winner is for sitting home and waiting the repair man. Meanwhile it's back to doing dishes by hand. At least no one gets yelled at for not putting their dishes in the dishwasher. Tonight will be get the paperwork in order. Never got to the bills yesterday and my filing is overflowing.

Well that's my excitement for the day! Hope you all enjoy your day!

Good Monday!

Princess, if there's not much happening at the palace, my life is a major yawner. Nothing exciting here, either, except the start of another week.

I spent a fun-filled weekend with the Star and DH. I didn't pick up a newspaper, listen to bad news, read an ad, or do anything that remotely resembles my day-to-day life. We had fun! 6-yr-old, run-through-the-puddles, get-my-hair-messy fun! I think if my doctor had put a BP cuff on me, he would have been pleased with the numbers. She brought her ballet costume and makeup, and we recreated her look and took pictures for the family. Many sets of prints will be made, along with her little brother's 5th birthday party. Thank goodness for digital photography (Could this be me speaking - the one who said if we get a digital camera, fine, and if we don't, fine, too??)

Back on the workout stick today - cardio and UB, and abs. Eating could be a bit better than it was Saturday and Sunday, but it wasn't really awful those two days, either. Just need to clean it up a bit.

Hope your week gets off to a kickin' start!

Happy Monday Ladies!

Had an excellent Saturday. Had my nails done including the spa pedicure with the massaging chair and foot & leg massage. Then downtown for lobster-filled pasta, glass of Merlot, and “Baileys Delight” which was a chocolate graham cracker crust, cream cheese cake with hint of Baileys – absolutely scrumptious! From just outside the restaurant, a free trolley car took us directly in front of the performance center for the ballet. Midsummer Night’s Dream with its costumes, imagery and metaphors was an awesome production!

Yesterday prepared meals in advance so they are measured for WW Points and also helps as I get busy and tempted for fast food. Today, the scale says 1 pound lighter – hmm, must have been the 2-mile walk around the lake yesterday. Well, that is encouraging. Today, need to schedule an appointment with a new dentist, which means dealing with the previous Office Nazi – I mean Office Manager to transfer records. Then study and do the spin-bike.

Have a good day and check-back later

BACK TO REALITY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Much to my surprise I turned on the tv this am and it didn't bring right to the hotel events page, nor was there a newspaper outside our front door, no help with the luggage, nor the aroma of beignets and cafe aulait.

The pictures will be not TOO stunning...I looked funny in all of them...like I'm trying to get used to the humidity but not quite.

Good morning ladies.

I had a pleasant surprise this morning. It's the start of Week 3 of the Walk It Off Challenge. I did get all of the walking part in, but not the strength training! (Big surprise there!) I measured and I've lost 3 3/4" since I started two weeks ago. Unfortunately, the scale is not reflecting it. It's up one pound. But, I don't care. My clothes are looser and AF showed up today, so I'm sure it'll move down soon!

We took the boys to the playground yesterday and had fun kicking the soccer ball around and playing on the playground equipment. Oh yeah! There I was hanging from the monkey bars. Then we came home, I stuffed a Freezie in the boys' hands, a beer in the dh's and headed off (by myself) to the nursery for some bark mulch and bedding plants!!! Got all of the front planted and mulched. Today I will tackle the side and start the next batch of seeds in the veggy garden! I'm hoping that by getting right back at it, that the muscles that are screaming at me today will be quiet!!

This afternoon is a long walk to take Adam over to his "girlfriend's" house for a playdate.

Have a healthy day my friends,

Shar
