Hi Everyone...

Never got to check in this morning so I figured I'd jump the gun and start the Monday afternoon check in.

Ooops, I got distracted (with work) and never added my check in post!

After reading the morning posts yesterday I decided to kick back and take some time to enjoy my Sunday and it gave me a great start to my week.

I'm posting late too. Nice day here. I met Mom and Cheryl at the mall, so we could look around for a pantsuit and some shoes for Mom. She is THE HARDEST woman to please I've ever seen. We finally gave up. Still enjoyed walking and chatting while we looked and had lunch at the food court. I was good and got a Subway salad.

I had done some laundry and dishes this morning that both now need to be put away. I'd like to mow, but it's clouding up and looking as though we may get some needed rain. I know how you feel, Nancy, although our livlihood doesn't depend on it. Our lawn and plants all seem to do the happy dance after it's been so hot and dry. I also really need to clean my car inside and out. It's such a pit from going to the beach so much.

My sister and I said our good-bye's at the mall. Mom will be taking her to the airport soon, but at least she and the whole gang will be back in two weeks. Lauren and her family will be staying at the Marriott Grand Cypress Resort for a week or so and have invited us to come stay with them at least part of the time. That would be really nice, but Tim may not like being left behind. Maybe we can swing a day or two. I'd like to do some sleuthing about Erin while I'm down there -- just for my own satisfaction. ;-)

Oh, Lauren called today and said that little Claudea is very sick. She's had a lot of trouble over the last month or so with being able to keep much of any kind of food down, so even though she's gotten 5" longer, she's gained almost no weight. She's considered a failure to thrive baby! She has an appt. with the dr. today, and we think they may admit her to the hospital. We're kind of hoping they do for fluids and tests, so they can try to get this squared away. I'd really appreciate your prayers for her. She's only 3 months old.

Rhonda,

Praying the doctors will find what little Claudia needs.

Thanks so much, Margie.

I think if Erin saw the call was from me she wouldn't answer it. Sad, isn't it? I could just pop in her office one day since I know where she works, and she how she reacts in front of her peers. Actually, I wouldn't do that.

Well back on the healthy eating bandwagon.....no cocktail with lunch, no pecan pie with homemade maple pecan ice cream...I actually bought a chicken breast and cooked it up with stir fry (frozen) veggies.

Poor little Claudea. That has to be hard, especially when she's so obviously treasured. Prayers definitely on the way for her. I hate hearing about sick little ones. It's so unfair.

Know how you wake up and think it's going to be a dull boring day and then something turns it around?Well that didn't happen here.It was even less exciting than I imagined it could be.The only thing that's going to save this day is that it's "buy one , get one pizza free" at Mrs. Bs tonight!I worked in Cl quite a bit.I kept waiting and waiting to see some sunshine but there wasn't alot of that.I was forced to break down and do housework!!!The I finally got out to do some mowing. As for workout I did get a long run in and a LB workout in.My long runs have been 7 miles lately and I'm thinking about setting a goal of 10 miles by summers end.But today when I ran I couldn't help but think how crazy it is I would run 10 miles yet never leave the farm!!What's wrong with that picture????

I really hope Tuesday is alittle more turbo charged......

Thanks guys! They found out at the dr's. today that she has bronchitis. They want to go ahead and let her stay at home a while to give the medicine a chance to work. It would probably be easier on her being at home with her family. She does have an appt. May 28th to have some tests done at Children's Hosp. in DC. It would have been June if the dr. hadn't intervened. Sure wish she could get there sooner.
