Toot Your Own Horn Tuesday --

Remember when Tulips (Suzanne) started this a couple of years ago? We've kind of let it slide by the wayside, but I thought it would be fun to revive it for a day. Can you think of something you did this past week that you'd like to toot your own horn about? If can be something you did for someone else, for your self, an accomplishment, or anything like that.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods? What are your plans for today? Need a kick in the butt (here! here!) or a pat on the back? We're here!

Make it a great day!

Rhonda

I'm so glad to hear your daughter's feeling better. Bet that cold dinner you came home to tasted great!

A block party sounds fun. Can't think of any specific ice breakers other than maybe some competitive type of games for outside. That usually increases commaraderie! If someone has a basketball net you could take turns shooting for a joke prize (mixed teams) or even have the adults attempt things that you'd do at a child's party like passing a hardboiled egg from spoon to spoon, or if you're really brave tossing a raw egg back and forth down two lines. It's funny how people are often kind of hesitant at first, but after things get going you'll see

Hi Deb,

I remember a game that I played once, where you pin the name of a famous person (Cleopatra, Queen Elizabeth, Napoleon, etc.) on to everyone's back. The object of the game was to ask questions and find out who you were. You could only ask questions that were answered by yes or no. The person who guessed first got a prize.

Same with me and frozen candy, I can eat it without a problem at all.

Thanks, Nancy!Even though I love what I do(most days)it is hard sometimes just hanging with chickens so much. The warm weather really keeps me tied down to the farm, especially when there is the chance of thunderstorms.Nope, George didn't call but there is always tomorrow....

I can't believe you would say that is silly!!!!!I think it shows how hard you are working at fitness and health inspite of alot of curves that have been thrown your way.I really admire that. Some people would just whine...and yes I mean me!!!!

The food today at the luncheon was really good too...a big pile of cold pasta with a skinless grilled chicken breast on top of a big mound of field greens with fruit on the side.
