I promise I'm not posting another whine!!!!Just wondering how everyones day went.Did you get lots accomplished?

I didn't get my yard work done that I had hoped to but I did take that time and get a really good weight workout in.Finished up in Cl early thanks to the rain that cooled things off.May head out for a short walk later or maybe just relax on the porch.

Hope your day went well. Look forward to hearing about it.

My day actually began the night before when I had to park my car 1/2 mile from my house due to the fact that they were re-paving my street. So in the morning the kids and I had to get up a little early and make the walk (in the rain) to the car. My hair went completely flat due to the rain and humidity. I had a wrap skirt on with a Lands End sweater and thought I looked pretty good when I left. Well, I forgot that this sweater wrinkles and stretches when you sit down...so it made me look very sloppy and extra heavy. Then, when I sat down at my desk my skirt would gap open up to my upper thigh. So when I sat down, I would put a binder clip on my skirt so it wouldn't fall open. Several times I got up and walked down the hall forgetting about the clip on my skirt. What a complete doofus I was today! I'm laughing just thinking about it.

Also, I have to get a root canal next week and in the meantime am on Vicodin for the pain. So everything my boss said I would retain for approximately a nanosecond and I'd have to ask him again what he said. I felt like crap and looked like crap. Boy, was I embarassed. I couldn't wait to get home and put my jeans on, sit down with a good book and relax!

My day? It was ugly. Tomorrow has to be better! :-)

Not much to talk about Tuesday. Pretty much the same old same old. I did my early morning workout. I got all my morning chores done before work, went to work, which was a rather quiet day there. Came home to cook dinner, took Otto out for a walk, need to put away a load of laundry and I'll be leaving in a few minutes for the library to meet with my student. Like I said pretty much same old same old. I really want to get back into yoga or stretching in the evening before bed so I'll be aiming to do that when I get home and then time for bed. And that about sums up my day!

Hope yours was a good one!

In spite of feeling not so hot a good part of the day -- upset stomach, slight headache, sneezing like crazy outside, and just a general foggy brain feeling -- I was able to get the edging and blowing done and started some shrubbery trimming. I also cut the bulk of the fur off both dogs after they got into things we call hitchhikers out in the yard that stuck all over them. When Tim can hold them for me, I'm going to attempt to use the new groomer thingy. I did

Hey Patti, I have been missing in action these past few days. I have been busy with Katie's horseback riding, her spring concert, and starting the new job. Aunt Flo arrived this evening and I was so beat after working 2 days in a row, I skipped the WW meeting. I had to run to the post office after work, vote on the school budget, and view Katie's science exhibit. Then ran to the grocery store for a small order.

My "new" job was so-so. I guess its not fair to judge it against the other job and boss. I am not sure if I am going to like it or him. Its only him and I in 2 rooms. Only 1 window, the phone is on his desk and I have to go around to pick it up (stupid), the office in front of ours lets the gals smoke and the smell is awful, he has boxes of files that he refers to all the time, so there must 30 boxes around the room. I am not sure if I have a future here or not. Thinking I might use it for the next 6 weeks, make some extra money and then if I am not happy take the summer off with the kids. Look for something else in August for a September start. Time will tell. So that is my whine for today!

I was thinking about you today and wondering how the new job was. I can't believe that there is an office building that still allows smoking-that literally stinks! Time will tell on the job and after having a job you really like it probably will take a little time to adjust. Give it a try and some time and then you can make a decision. Like you said if it doesn't seem to work at least you can have the summer with the kids to regroup and look around. Sounds like you had a mighty busy day and hope you get a chance to rest and relax.

Hugs,
