foot is really hurting. I don't know if this is normal after a cortisone shot, but I feel like I took another step backwards. I will give it another day and if it doesn't start to feel better, I am going to call the doctor.
Sorry to ruin Thankful Thursday with a whine, but I just needed to get that out. Thankful I had you to come to so I could vent.

Sounds like the old "it's going to get worse before it gets better". I hope it doesn't and you're pain-free sooner rather than later.

So sorry to hear your foot is causing you so much pain, Grace! I had two cortisone shots in my sacroiliac joint years ago. Not long after the shot, I couldn't put my weight on my left foot without it hurting terribly for a couple of hours. When it went away, so did the inflation in the joint the first time. The second time it did nothing, but the dr. said cortisone can be like that. Several years ago I had a combination shot of cortisone and an anesthetic in my left shoulder. It didn't help because the problem was an impingement instead of inflammation.
Probably the best thing you can do is stay off it for a while, if possible. Sure hope it feels better soon.
Hugs,
Rhonda
