Yes a clean house free of dog hair and dust bunnies, dinner ready with fresh flowers and candles and someone to clean up after and add a few cabana boys to serve the food and drinks-ah yes-indeed a fantasy!
Now back to reality-I did a WATP video this morning. It's gray and gloomy this morning and there's lots of talk of returning humidity and T-storms and rain during the course of the next few days. Really nothing much going on in this neck of the woods. It's day 2 of lets see whether the appliance repair man gets here. It may get ugly if he's a no show again! Grocery shopping after work-I didn't get to far with my grocery list and menu ideas for the wee last night so better get my thoughts together!
Hope you all have a Fantastic Friday!

I'm *still* a bit sore from my Wednesday workout, and didn't get a run (or anything) in yesterday. Since I can't leave Al alone, I can't run this morning. So I'll do the Firm's Cardio Sculpt with a little weight work which is about 50 minutes, plus my abs routine. Allison wants to Samba with me!
Project... I've got about 30 pieces left on a jigsaw puzzle - all black, all the same basic shape. It's proving more difficult than the rest of the puzzle! I'm also working on my photo album captions and would like to do more on that since I'm behind. Albums themselves are current through September 2003, but I'm still on March 2002 on the captions. Later today, Al wants to go to the pool, so we'll do that, too.

No workout planned today. Maybe a walk a lunchtime, if it's not too humid. Going to a Pampered Chef party this evening at a coworker's house. A small group - 8, maybe 10 people. Having dinner in town before the party - maybe Tex-Mex - with another coworker who's also going. We both live too far to go home and get back in time for the start, so DH is on his own for dinner.
Weekend is forecast to be a washout, so no trip to Cape Cod on Saturday. Think I'll be self-indulgent, work out hard early, clean the house, and follow up with a personal care day afternoon - hair color (gotta do something - this could get interesting), foot scrub and massage, eyebrows, shape up my nails a bit (not manicure-worthy yet). Since I'm going out to play Friday evening, I'll make a nice dinner for DH Saturday.
Have a great fun Friday!

Fantasy? Well, combined with the little crown icon first thought of Fantasy Land at Disneyland/DisneyWorld. Other fantasies may include an island, Johnny Depp, and the Tango…LOL!;^)
Just finished an hour of elliptical and think I am more tired after looking at my To Do list. Yesterday, the “HR” Department of Volunteer Services asked me if I would be interested in changing positions. So instead of Records, am going to be doing Oncology database research via Internet, medical records, patient follow-up mailings, etc. The hospital is non-profit and the Cancer Registry and Research group is very small so that allows me to gain quite a bit of experience doing research. Will not be around any patients whatsoever – just a few good people and computers in an office building off to the side of the hospital. Monday is orientation and then I start on Thursday. This really is appealing to me and even though it’s volunteer work right now, who knows where it could lead after I complete certification…
This weekend will be mostly much-needed chores around the house and possibly a BJ’s (Costco) run for items for the upcoming Block Party. With the weather reaching 90 (not to mention humidity) , wherever air-conditioning is – that’s where you will find me!
Have a good day and a great weekend!

LOL that's not what came to my mind when I saw fantasy Patty :o).
Deb---volunteer work is a great stepping stone to other things.
It was 92 yesterday and is supposed to be hotter today. Rob just came home from school, and we're celebrating the last day by going to the beach. That was pretty much my fantasy anyway. I mean, it'd be great to be in the tropics, but we have some awesome beaches here, fortunately. I must admit, the clean house and someone to cook sounds awfully good though...
We won't be able to go to the beach tomorrow, because I have to go to a big luncheon for Mom with the American Institute of Parliamentarians, which is actually at another beach, but inside a building. We were supposed to go to Edgewater today to pick up my sister's MIL so she could attend, but her older sister (88) has a heart condition and needed her to take her to the dr. I'm sorry she won't be able to make it, but I don't miss that trip today and again Monday.
I worked on trimming shrubs last night and will do another installment on those tonight. About the time I get to the end of them, it should be time to start all over again! ;-) Got to visit with some neighbors as they walked by and commented on my work.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!
