If I were in my car, I'd be playing Josh Groban. Love his voice. The male angel version of Eva; I'm glad he's still with us here to share that beautiful sound with us.

Just got back from the beach. It was gorgeous, but the waves were blown out, so Rob wasn't too gung ho about staying long. I actually made him stay longer, since we'd already used the gas and sunscreen. I told him we couldn't leave until he found a shark's tooth. I found several during that time, and each time he'd say, "Dad gum, you're disqualified!" Finally, he did find one. I stuck within about 25 yards of where we go on the beach, since he didn't have a buddy with him today. Still, I found 67 sharks' teeth. It was so neat. I walked down and found 3 nice ones just sitting out in the open within the first 2 minutes!! I've never done that before. It was crowded too, with the last day of school being a half day and a lot of the kids skipping anyway. We went by McDonald's, and I got an Oreo McFlurry. I have GOT to start listening to those hypnosis CD's again. I got out of the habit when my sister was here.

Got gas on the way home and for the first time ever it cost me $40.00!! It was $1.95.5. OPEC is supposed to be going to increase production soon, thankfully.

The CD we were just listening to in the car was Pearl Jam's first one. It's almost like a greatest hits.

A little later I will get back at it out in the yard with my trimming. I'd also like to drag out the big ladder and saw some limbs off a red maple tree to give my tangelo more sun.

TGIF!

In my CD player in the kitchen Tracy Bryd is playing. Trying to find a copy of one of his old cds "I'm From the Country". It has a song I love on it and I have worn my cassette out.In my cd player I run with I think CCR is in or Martina McBride. In my car Brooks and Dunn are playing or maybe George Straight. Can you see a country theme going on?

I finally got the yard mowed although at one point I was doing it in a shower.I've gotten way behind on CL work today.I got a run in early and it was one of those good easy just the right pace runs.At the end of each lap was the beautiful smell of the honeysuckle. I came out of Cl this morning and smelled it and knew it was going to be an outside run today.Weights are iffy.If I feel like it later I'll do them.If not maybe I'll just bench press Dh a few times.

Tomorrow afternoon is going to be a girls day with my sisters and neice, can't wait!!We're checking out a new Khols. And there is talk of lunch at a BBQ place which is just next to an ice cream place, perfect!!

Well, today has had too many carby foods, but what can I say? Starbucks was calling my name this a.m. for their soy latte and RF coffee cake. Lunch was bruschetta (sp?) & salad. There's a workout somewhere in my future, but first I have to go to Dillard's and the tail end of a baseball game.

I received the new issue of Christianity Today mag in the mail and cover story is "Why the Lost Gospels Lost Out and Why We Can Trust the New Testament Despite the Recent Conspiracy Theories". I can't wait to read it.

Evanescence (Fallen) is in my car cd player. Best of Earth, Wind and Fire, Frank Sinatra Love Songs and Boston's Greatest Hits are on the CD turntable at home. Still like my mom's music!! LOL!

Afternoon ladies. I quit the job yesterday. It was awful and there was no way this man was going to work out with me. I can email you the wonderful details. I went back to Steve today and decided to work out the next 6 weeks with him and then I will enjoy my summer with my kids and get back into kick butt exercise.

In my car I have Trace Atkins going, love his deep sexy voice. On my BOSE radio where I am now is Alan Jackson's greatest hits. Just love him too. Patti I listen to primarily county music too.

Well I am heading out the door to meet Katie at the barn. I can fill you in later.

I'll have to check out that CD Deb. I'm always looking for new music and my car is one place that DH can't turn it down or off on me! Right now I have Neil Diamond's Greatest Hits.

Today was definitely overindulgence in the food department. It was the 2nd day in a row that someone has brought in KK's and Friday is bagel day and there were Panera bagels. I skirted around the KK's yesterday, but didn't quite make it today! Friday has always been my indulgence day-but definitely overindulgence!

Hope everyone has a great evening!

So much for Road Runner! Cable has been unstable all afternoon!

Love to listen to CD’s and one of my favorites is Paris After Dark – all in French. Don’t understand too much of it but love the sound of it. One of the songs is the theme from (don’t laugh!) Disney’s NEMO except it’s in French! Unfortunately, need a new CD player for my computer before I invade dh’s ;^)

Deb,

Thanks for your words of encouragement regarding volunteering. Am really looking forward to it!
