Hey Nancy if you read my post from yesterday you will see my life can be dull.........lol. All quiet here again. Bill and Rob just drove to NJ for some testing on his new car. Katie is home with me this morning and we are thinking about taking the dog for a walk, but she is still not dressed. So I might just do my 2 mile walk away video. There has been no exercise at all this week, since I put in 5 days. My eatting has been horrible too and I have not journeled anything. I wish I could stay focused. I have this wedding in September and heaven knows its going to be here sooner then I think or am ready. I need help staying on my points, and moving my butt. I need to move my butt in order to loose a pound or two and it is very depressing. I have zero energy, this rainy weather has not helped much.

On a good note we are going to the movies this afternoon, which should be fun. The sun is trying to peak out here and its seems to be warming up.

How many people have exercise buddies? Do you do your exercises alone? I just wish I had someone to help motivate me each day.

I am heading to the beach by myself. Tim wanted to go into the office to get caught up on some things, so he doesn't start the week playing catch-up, and Rob is already at another beach with a friend. I'll just go down and leisurely look for sharks' teeth and enjoy the air, sights, and sounds. Getting a bit of a late start though.

Deb, I WISH I had an exercise partner. I know it would really help me to get motivated and to stick with it. Nancy, hope you enjoy your time with your daughter. I need to get more annuals to replace the winter ones the heat is doing in.

My daughter and her boy friend are getting baptized today in Orlando. I'm very happy that's happening, but

Hi Deb,

We watched Bend It Like Beckham a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it too! I love watching multi-cultural shows like that. I really like Parminder Nagra. She also plays Neela on ER.

The movie brought back memories from when I was in high-school because there was an East Indian girl in some of my classes and she used to sneak out to go to parties and events because her family never allowed her to do anything. :)

Nice to watch a movie with out a lot of violence and gore!!

Middle of the weekend for us up here. Tomorrow is a holiday.

Since the rainstorm moved on (rained all day yesterday), and it's beautiful and sunny again today, I'm angling to go to the beach this afternoon. Dh is supposed to go to a practice at his Kung Fu Club for the Lion Dance tomorrow, but hopefully he'll pass.

FIL is cooking dinner tonight, so we'll have the IL's here. Maybe I could just go eat dinner out somewhere!!! LOL

I need to get my 45 minutes of walking in today too! I must confess I was extremely lazy yesterday and rarely got off my behind!!!

Have a wonderful Sunday ladies.

Hi, Nancy! I don't think your life is dull at all! I bet Annie doesn't think so either! Hope your daughter's work settles down some soon. It is difficult to work so many hours when the job is new! Stressful! I will keep her in my prayers. Have a fun day with your dd and sil!

I finally caught up on the POTPW - Phyllis, Sassy and Rhonda - are we going to do a chat?

I had a minor burn accident yesterday cooking - my hand still hurts a little so I didn't go to SS today. Will take it easy today and do Bible study and other reading.

Have a blessed Sunday everyone.

Hi, Deb...what a nice day you had yesterday. It is great getting together with other fitness enthusiasts and trying some new classes.

I have read about the ole sit up making a comeback. But, I think they are twinking it a little to be more like a Pilates roll up. I would still be careful of not pushing the abs out while doing it and make sure the back is protected. Sit ups do put more pressure on the back. I will do Pilates roll ups in my Pilates classes but I won't do situps in a regular class. That is my 2 cents. :)

Enjoy your dance classes!

Hi, Nancy...your day sounds like fun. Enjoy your trip to buy annuals (wink)...actually, enjoy the visit with DD and SIL.

DH and I did something totally unplanned yesterday and nothing planned today. WE went to open houses yesterday for DD and her fiance to week through what was out there. We found a beautiful cape cod in their price range for sale by owner. DD and fiance put in an offer and showed their pre qual letter and hopefully they got it. This house is perfect for them and it is in the next town over. If they get it, they will actually be living closer than other DD. Kind of makes up for both sons living so far away.

I don't know what is up with me either with not getting and staying serious with the eating and exercise. (Setbacks with feet and the emotional ups and downs might have something to do with it.) I thought spring and an upcoming wedding would be enough motivation, but it hasn't worked for me either. The exercise is the going pretty well with what I can tolerate with my feet, but the eating could certainly be better.

I am sure you will get the urge to get back to it when you least expect it. I bet you will look back one day and realize you had a really good week with eating and exercise and you will keep going.

Hope you have a good week!

Yes---I am very careful with my lower back at all times, bringing "down" a lot of the moves in class-I won't be doing sit -ups.

Hey, Deb...I wished we live closer so we could be exercise buddies. It is definitely more motivating with a buddy. The big if...if I could only stay within my WW points too. Finding it hard to journal and keep track. One day it will fall inot place again for me.

I wish I was around yesterday...I would have loved to do something with you. Saturdays can be dull for me too, even with family around. I went to open houses to have something to do. Trying to convince DH to go to one in South Sayville today..an old Victorian for sale. The day is still young

Have a good day with Katie today. Will you be working a lot this week or back to 3 days? Maybe we can get together.

Hugs
