It's a funky kind of day weather wise here again-heavy rain and t-storms over night. I know there's so many of you that need rain and we seem to be getting more than our share.
I did a WATP tape for my workout du jour and if the weather holds a nice after dinner walk with Otto. Nothing else much new around here-anyone have anything exciting going on so I can live vicariously through you? Dinner menu planning is on the agenda and the usual pre work chores.
I'm very thankful to my Sears appliance man who fixed the dishwasher and I no longer have to have dishpan hands!
Hope you all have a thoroughly terrific Thursday filled with thanks for things big and small.
Good morning, Lori!I'm debating about a run before CL.Need to get back down there but need a run too. What to do , what to do. I'm also very inclined to blow off a workout today so we'll see.
I'm thankful for a very nice relaxing night with less work last night. I needed it.And I'm thankful that next week this time I'll be the only chick on this farm!!!!
Hi Lori, going to post my thankful here and my thrill under the other thread. Share the posts.......right. I complain alot but I need to stop and smell the roses everyone once in a while. I am bless to have a good husband and for that I am thankful. I also want to say I really enjoy my mom. She is one of my best friends and we look forward to seeing each other and walking on my days off. Like today for example, she is here already. She motivates me to keep going. So thanks to my mom, who understands me, accepts me, encourages me, and pushes me.
Planning to do either Body or Cardio Sculpt today, with additional abs work. Get a few more things knocked off on my Killer To-Do list, which is now down to a manageable size. Nothing really exciting happening - need to scan pics of MIL's antiques for record keeping before we head up there this weekend.
Thankfuls:
I'm thankful for POOLTIME in this heat!
Thankful that our A/C works.
Thankful for an upcoming trip to the mountains where it's cooler and quieter. Thankful that we'll be seeing The Cus's eldest brother again.
Thankful for a husband with a great sense of humor (he had me in stitches last night - couldn't catch my breath).
Thankful for a daughter who actually remembers manners, like saying "pardon?" when she doesn't understand a question, or regularly saying "thank you"... maybe not to me, but she does to people outside her family, LOL!
I'll start off my post with my thankfuls. I'm so very thankful for my family. Started the day off snuggled up to dh, listening to the boys (on the baby monitor that is still in their room) having a conversation. Adam was sharing all of his teddy bears with Max and they were snuggled up in his bed together. Then they came and piled into our bed and Max told us that he loved all of us!! I just melt when out of the blue they give my a big hug and tell me they love me. I think I must be doing something right!
I have to get a walk in today! I did get lots of activity yesterday, but I would have been happier if it had been a walk!
It's raining in our little corner of the world, so I'll be doing mostly indoor things today, unless it brightens later. It's a "good thing" though. It's so desperately dry here and we are in dire need of the water. I've got a few things cut out, so I may just do some sewing today.
I'm having a hard time focusing on my thankfuls today after Erin's reply to Rob yesterday where she let him know The Situation is Not Going to Change. I wish so much that I could just erase her from my memory. If I bring her up again will you all please give me a hard cyber slap?!!? I cannot stand this any more and have to move on.
I am thankful that the rest of my family loves me and are good people I love and enjoy being with. That's a very big thing to be thankful for.
I'm thankful I've been able to do the physical labor to get my yard pretty well shaped up and can maintain it.
Thankful for AC in this heat. We'll probably be back up around 99 again today. Rob wanted to go to the beach, but believe it or not, I just feel too drained today.
I'm not making any plans and just taking the day as it comes. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Day six of my cramps and breast soreness (OUCH) so I'm thankful I haven't had to go through this every month like I used to.
