Good morning, everyone!Yay, we made it to Friday!So how has your week gone?Did you meet goals that you set on Monday?Are you looking back at a successful week?I like what catalinadeb posted the other day about food not being 100% but about 95% good.A good reminder that every day doesn't have to being perfect to be successful.

What are you going to do today to cap off your week?What are your fitness plans for today?Are you giving yourself a much deserved or needed rest?I think we often forget how important it is to rest and let our bodies recharge.

Take some time today to reflect back on the week.See where you did well and celebrate it!See where you had some slip ups and learn from them and then let them go.If a bad day made you head for the cookies, try to find a way to be ready for that next week.Set yourself up to succeed!

I just want to say what a wonderful group of women I think this is.We each lead different lives, have different interests, viewpoints and goals.But the one thing we always come together on is our care and concern for each other.I can't tell you all how much it means to know there is always this group to be here to care and support.

Hi ho, hi ho its off to work I will go!!! I am glad its Friday and 3 days off. I have a friend coming over for cake and coffee on Saturday night. So tonight after work I need to hit the grocery store. I plan on making a homemade crumb cake. Sunday we are heading to the track and then Monday we hope to open the pool. I think someplace in there is time to rest and cuddle with hubby......lol. I am sick of this rainy weather we have. I woke up around 2 in the morning to thunder and lightening and then running around closing up windows and sky lights. I think that is the 4th night in a row for us. I will be meeting a girl friend from my business school for lunch, pizza I think. After work its off to take Katie to her riding lesson, stop at the grocery store, and then I promised Robbie new sneakers. So its off to the mall later. I do not see a exercise stuck into my day so maybe some leg lifts while sitting at my desk. Does that count? Hope you all have a great Friday that leads into a wonderful weekend!

Good Morning,

Yahoo it's Friday! A 3 day weekend and hopefully the boss men will hold to their tradition of closing the office a few hours early for the holiday weekend!

I'm definitely in slow motion this morning. It is so dark and rainy here this morning you would think it's still nighttime. I almost slept through my workout time and had it not been for Otto's whining to be fed and DH not moving I probably would have blown off any workout this morning. So I'm not sure whether I should be thanking Otto or not. It was a tough ride to the "dungeon" as Donna so affectionately calls it. I couldn't find my sneakers, couldn't find a single work out shirt (can't figure out what happened to them all-I'm sure no one wanted to borrow them :) but I forged ahead and although by the time I got started to was almost time to quit I did put a few miles on my exercise bike.

I was extremely tired last night and after DD talked me into running to the mall last night in search of a pair of these cute Keds sandals that we found on line (we didn't find them-may just have to order them on line) and her taking me to the Apple store (she's trying to talk me into getting a MAC because the PC has been giving us some trouble as of late) I didn't get my shopping list or meal ideas in order. I really should be taking care of this now-but really not in the mood. I'm in a I'll do it later mode.

Happy Friday Everyone! Memorial Day, the unofficial start of Summer! Also reminds me that we are very-nearly half-way through The Year already! So Patty is right, it is a good point to reflect on how it has been spent and things to look forward to as well. I browsed the back pages of my calendar with past events, appointments, and reminders written on it, and it brings a smile to my face. There are a few notations written in the months ahead of our upcoming vacations, reminder to vote, and a wedding to attend. Think this is a good time to add a few personal goals…

Yesterday I ended up not working out - a friend called and asked us over. Her son and Al are good friends. I felt I needed adult interaction (turns out she needed it too!), and so we killed the afternoon over there.

This morning I went for a run, 3.35 miles - no dogs! Instead I stopped and chatted with two other runners whom I'd seen a few times before, they offered me some water. I think it's good to see the same people over and over, so you can kind of be on the lookout for things.

Allison just went with one of my friends to the zoo, that way I'll be able to pack for our weekend getaway without a little "helper" derailing me. I'll get in some abs work and UB weight work in too.

My day is not complete if I don't stop in here!

Guess I should post my fitness stuff here too.Exercisewise I've done well this week.Today I will probably do a short walk with my sister during her lunch hour and then focus on my weights.Think I'll take a day off from running.I went online and ordered running shoes and socks today.I'm anxiuos to get my socks and see how they feel.Up til now I've stuck with just basic socks but these have alittle more padding and are made for running.

Food has been better this week, not 100% but defintely a number I can feel good about and still have room to improve.

Really pumped to make this a healthy happy fitness focused summer.I'm getting in shape to meet an awesome group of ladies come fall!!!!!

Aw, man... send some rain this way! Everything is parched here. I watered the front lawn Wednesday (two hours in each spot), back lawn yesterday, and the front will need it again because there are already dry-looking patches and we won't be able to water this weekend.

Our rainfall last year was great. This year? It's making up for it!

OK, I'm having a party and it's all about me! But after I knock off two more deadlines from my calendar.....

I need a workout tonight. I need to stretch and get moving - I feel chained to my desk, and that's not healthy physically or mentally. So I will get out of here at lunchtime for a breather; I will eat healthily (leftover eggplant parm, with a nice fresh salad); and do a weight workout this evening that hits all parts, and cardio, and stretching. Dinner's going to be better than yesterday's, but it will be late - fish of some kind.

Gotta check out the other posts and get back to the grind. I'll be back later....

I've got some volunteer work to do today for the RAGS, then it's off to class, coffee date, come home, lunch date (across the bridge) which I plan to eat light, and come home and get things done around the house.
