Good morning, everyone!Yay, we made it to Friday! So how has your week gone?Did you meet goals that you set on Monday? Are you looking back at a successful week?I like what catalinadeb posted the other day about food not being 100% but about 95% good.A good reminder that every day doesn't have to being perfect to be successful.

What are you going to do today to cap off your week? What are your fitness plans for today? Are you giving yourself a much deserved or needed rest?I think we often forget how important it is to rest and let our bodies recharge.

Take some time today to reflect back on the week.See where you did well and celebrate it!See where you had some slip ups and learn from them and then let them go.If a bad day made you head for the cookies, try to find a way to be ready for that next week.Set yourself up to succeed!

I just want to say what a wonderful group of women I think this is.We each lead different lives, have different interests, viewpoints and goals. But the one thing we always come together on is our care and concern for each other.I can't tell you all how much it means to know there is always this group to be here to care and support.

Have a wonderful Friday and celebrate yourself!!!!!

Miss P

What a great way you started the day, Patty, with your celebration post. You certainly set the tone for ending the week and starting a holiday weekend. You seem to have had a pretty good week with food and exercise. Glad you are not feeling quite as overwhelmed as you were the other day.

You have no idea how your posts impress me. After reading about "chips" which are my favorite, I wanted them. I actually bought some yesterday but have not touched them. I think just knowing they are there "in case" (of what I don't know) has helped me not want them. If I didn't buy them, I would have been thinking about them constantly. So, instead, I am munching on wasabi soy nuts and burning out my stomach.

Hope the socks and new running shoes work out. It should kick your runs up a notch. Now don't get too gorgeous for the fall! You are putting a lot of pressure on me...LOL

Hi, Deb...I don't know if I like the idea of the year being half over at my age, but it does mean summer is here. It also gives us 1/2 year to still do something about our fitness and health goals.

Glad things worked out with the volunteer job at the hospital and Nurse Ratchett didn't ruin the whole week for you. Enjoy your weekend too.

Enjoy your busy day today, Deb. It is a shame traffic has to ruin plans but it is the same here. It is almost impossible to get off Long Island with the traffic and construction especially on a holiday weekend unless you want to travel 3 am.

Have a good one.

Hope you were able to get out at lunchtime and get some fresh air, Donna. Your eating and exercise sounds so on target. Your talking about fish got me to go to Costco and I bought tuna, salmon and shrimp. You rubbed off on me.

Don't start the party without me.

How nice to meet some running buddies today. You never know what kind of friendships you can make with people with similar interests in fitness. I made some nice friends at the gyms.

Sometimes it is really good to do something unplanned and get together with other adults. Sounds like you had a nice afternoon.

Enjoy your free time and your little getaway.

Hope you enjoy the beach Rhonda.

You know I am always thinking of you and keeping the faith that things will some day still workout. Just wanted to let you know.

Sounding good there Susan. I think we will have to make Otto your honorary personal trainer. Not only does he wake you up in the morning, he makes you take him out for walks at night.

Nothing like things in order to make you feel better, especially with the yard in shape and looking at things from nature. So peaceful and relaxing.

Glad things were ok workwise this week at work and at home. Enjoy your fun things this weekend and hope you get to relax with a good book.

Look ahead and not what was. We still have time to do better every day.

No such luck at lunchtime. The heavens opened up like I've never seen it before, and I'm wearing open shoes, so I thought better. No salad, but great eggplant parm!

Your fishing expedition yielded some great rewards. I can smell them grilling from here.....
