Birkenstock shoes came today! They look huge which is hard for a size 5 but they are soooooo comfortable. They don't even hurt the neuroma. I think I found shoes that will work for my feet. This would be good because older DD wants to go to the Old Bethpage Restoration Village this weekend and I said no because my feet hurt. I think I can do it now...yay!!!!

Something how things so little can make my day.

Hurray for comfortable shoes!! After having trouble with my feet for about a year several years ago, I know how miserable that can be. I had great luck with Dansko by Soleil, Born, Joseph Siebel, Clark's, and another brand from Israel that I can never remember the name of.

I was channel flipping the other day and saw those.Did you get the blue ones by any chance?I ordered some Birkenstocks off QVC yesterday, a single strap sandal/slide.Can't wait to get them since I've heard such good things about those shoes.

Congrats on the weight loss this week!

I love my Birkenstocks. I've got some navy Floridas (3 strap). Not really what I would have chosen style wise, but they are incredibly comfortable. I've been eyeing the Boston's for fall!

I got the "Quito" slide...two straps with an elastic gore in black and then a "Woogie" sandal in khaki...3 straps with buckles. The Woogies are typical Birkenstock but extremely comfortable.

I missed QVC's presentation...if I remember right, they do not usually have size 5 but the Betulas on HSN did.

PS...DD loved the Quito slide...I have one pair on waitlist for her.
