Ok--been having cramps for 8 days now, my b*obs hurt so much I couldn't get a bra on last week (now vast improvement)..I can blame the gorging on my hormones, but I'm owning up to my own self-destruction.

Ate all of those donuts on Friday/Sat...did ok yesterday, but today roasted a turkey with all the trimmings, we ate that for lunch and I was back again tonight for a turkey sandwich and more of the dressing and potatoes.

Ever feel like you're ready to pop??

It's Sunday--and I've said this so many times but MONDAY begins a new week for me!

We all go through our cycles of eating where we just HAVE to have some carbs, particularly when hormones are raging, and then we do better again. I've found I do better to just give in a bit and eat what I really want than to eat my way through the refrigerator and pantry trying to avoid

De, are you in my head now????I am amazed at what my hormones can do to my emotions, my eating and my feelings about my body.Last week my hormones had me either in tears or in the kitchen eating!!!!!Some days I can do well and say ok it's my hormones and keep it under control but other days it's sheer uglieness.I did not do as well this weekend as hoped so I'm with you on the Monday thing.

I read the article on the stomach surgery too and was amazed that people could put it all back on.How sad to go thru that and have that happen.A woman in town had it done, actually several, and she is afraid to eat now!She is afraid of gaining it all back. But now she is way too thin and looks like she is sick. Now that is even sadder to me.I think it shows there is no foolproof EASY to handle weight.

Ok, Deb, it's Monday! Here we go into a healthier eating week!!!

I truly think I'm trying to make myself feel better (hormone stuff) via food.

OH, boy, can I relate to this! When I fall off the wagon, it is usually a big fall...days of just eating and eating all the things I didn't have for awhile. It seems to snowball since once I start it just keeps getting more and more out of hand.

There is always a new beginnings day, Deb,

Deb, interesting you mentioned the soy.I haven't any experience with it myself and I know some people have alot of luck with it.But I did have one friend who when she added it she had alot of problems with breast tenderness and other hormonal things.

Interesting info -- maybe I'm bringing on some of my issues?
