how is your day going???

Where is Sassy?? (Margie's post reminded me to ask!)

Are you eating healthy foods for your body?

People bugging you at work or is it a good day?

Anyone read Anthony Robbins' books?

how is your day going???

Ehh. I've had worse, but I've definitely had better.

Where is Sassy?? (Margie's post reminded me to ask!)

One more time - where's Sassy?

Are you eating healthy foods for your body?

Yes. Kashi Go Lean with almonds, vanilla SoySlender and ff half-and-half, 4 oz oj, and a cuppa (big cuppa) decaf on the train. Lunch - a messy turkey club sandwich on one piece of toasted whole wheat bread and a cuppa decaf tea. Decaf coffee and tea all day - it's darned cold in my cube! Need to do better on plain old H2O, though.

People bugging you at work or is it a good day?

Bugging me, of course! A day without people bugging me at work is like a day without sunshine.....oh, wait....we're having a lot of those lately, too....

how is your day going??? Pretty hectic.

Where is Sassy?? (Margie's post reminded me to ask!) She was at our chat for Power of the Praying Woman today. She's been very busy with work, her kids and their sports and her dh is getting ready for back surgery this month. He's in quite a bit of pain with his back. I'm sure our prayers will help. I sure do miss her on this board, and Phyllis, too!

Are you eating healthy foods for your body? Yes, lots of fruits & veggies are coming tonight! I'm within my points & my stomach is growling! Feed me, feed me!!!

People bugging you at work or is it a good day? Bugging - it's nice to be needed! That's what I keep telling myself, LOL!

Anyone read Anthony Robbins' books? Yes, one and it's good!

Rob drove me down to St. Augustine Beach today to 3 surf shops. We didn't actually go on the beach. He got a cool dark green Channel Islands T-shirt (courtesy of me), a surfing DVD he's been wanting, and some "special" wax for his board. I found a white "Ripcurl" baseball style hat for Tim for Father's Day. He wanted one by O'Neill, but I couldn't find a white one. It had to be white. We had lunch at Wendy's and then drove back. It was 99 on the way back.

I've got the sprinklers going while I'm doing laundry and waiting for it to cool off a little. I picked up a few more flowers to fill in the bed yesterday, so I need to get them in the ground. We're going to grill out hot dogs and have baked beans and corn-on-the-cob for dinner. Not exactly low carb, but I'm in the mood for them.

Yesterday, we went to the beach and it was packed. Briefly, my car thermometer said 101, but it stayed on 100 most of the time. I found 92 sharks' teeth and mostly got rid of my white shorts marks from having worn shorts to the beach all this year until Sat. (Not a pretty sight, I can tell you).

I thought the ceremony last night would be blazing hot, but by the time it started there was a great breeze from the river and we had seats in the shade, so it was very comfortable. The new park with the eternal flame for the veterans' memorial wall is extremely nice. The service was moving with several numbers by a bagpipe and drum corps, a Navy band planning the song for each of the branches of the service, a couple of singers, several speakers, and many wreaths placed at the wall by representatives of various groups. Both of the women's clubs I belong to and the Republican Party had wreaths there. There were color guards, a 21-gun salute, and a very emotional rendition of Taps with the answering bugle from behind the wall. I couldn't help getting teary eyed. Had to make a stop by Arby's on the way home for Rob, so he wouldn't starve.

Sure seems like Monday. Glad it's Tuesday and hope everyone is having a good day.

Well my day was kind of mixed up. Got into my office at 9 and the other attorney needed my desk for a closing. I had no place to sit or go so I left. Let my machine pick up any messages and I went to the bank and then home and switched some laundry. My desk was free around 10:30 so I headed back to the office. My boss called looking for me around 10 and thought I forgot to come in. He is out this week, down in Virginia looking for a house. I called him back and explained what happened and he said it happens to him all the time and understood. He told me he was just heading into his new job to check it out a little, he and his wife put a bid on a house and were having a good time. He might be back earlier then expected. I was only going to work Tueday, Wednesday, and Friday but I need to come in and help out the other attorney on Thursday morning with a bank closing he is covering for Steve. So it looks like a full week for me.

I ate very well today, I have 9.5 points left for dinner and I think I am going to fix some sauteed zucchini with some tomato sauce. I will pour that over some angel hair pasta, with a nice tossed salad on the side. I really do not think a walk or exercise is in my cards. I need to do some mending and sew some buttons on several work pants. Its starting to cloud up here, again and I can hear thunder in the distance. Katie went to the barn with her friends and she is watching them ride their horse and she will help groom him too. All else quiet.

Really hasn't been all that great a day. Nothing specific bad has happened today, just sort of feeling down in the dumps-cranky, moody, feeling very bloated as the scale has indicated, pants I wore to work felt way too snug and even my comfy pants are feeling way too snug, and even my rings that generally slide off rather easily have been giving me problems. Do these things still have to torment me even with Flo being gone now for a year? Is there ever a time when hormones leave you alone? Or is it just me? I have absolutely no desire to do any type of work out. I'm just feeling bored with everything and it's raining and thundering out so taking the dog for a walk is out of the question too. Think I wore myself out with projects around here this weekend, didn't have any play time and of course now there are a million things to be attended to that I normally do over the weekend. So pardon me while I whine, vent and have a great big pity party for myself. I will now attend to my laundry, bills, checkbook etc and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

1-Today went well for me. I ate right on target and even achieved my just for today goal of no carbs at dinner...grain carbs that is since I had veggies and salad.

I got to the gym early and did 30 minutes on the elliptical before teaching Pilates. Have to do that more often.

2-I don't know where Sassy is/was, but I do notice her on IM buddy list. Sorry to hear DH is having back pain.

3-Ate really well today with foods that work for my body and stayed within my WW points.

4-No one bugged me at work. The class went well but only 4 people showed up.

It took me til now but I finally got everything off my to do list for today.Did well with exercise and water.Food was so/so.

People bugged me some today.Did you ever try so hard to be nice and agreeable and then you've finally have had enough and you blow up?I was like that today and wish I had handled things differently. Then I , of course, thought 2 cookies would make things better. Wrong again!!!

I'm going to bed and hope I wake up a nicer, saner person tomorrow!!!!!
