I started my day in a different way this morning.Grabbed a cup of tea and instead of having it in front of the tv , I went outside and sat on the porch.Took time to just enjoy nature and reflect on all my blessings.Yesterday I was in a store and heard two women talking. As one was leaving she said to the other "Take care and I hope you are blessed".I was so struck by that.I didn't know what this woman's faith and it didn't matter. I knew just by her words whatever she believed in she felt it strongly.I could also tell from her words and tone that she truly wished good things for someone else. With one phrase she came across as a kind and generous woman. So today , and everyday, when people hear my words or see my actions I hope they see the person I truly want to be.
Are you working out today or it is a rest day? How's food going? Are you finding creative ways to stay motivated? Are you taking some time for yourself? Are you feeling overwhelmed by work, life or anything? If you are I hope you know we're always here to listen and care.
I hope your Thursday is filled with many things to be thankful for.

I've had to wear my neck collar to bed at times too, and it does help despite how it looks. Since I got my extremely firm (i. e. hard) magnetic pillow, my neck is feeling much better. It's not a cure, but it sure helps. It took me about 2 nights to get used to the hardness, but I really can tell a difference. In fact, even my TMJ hasn't bothered me, and I'm thinking that my face resting on the magnetic surface may have something to do with that. I still prefer the feel of a softer pillow from years of sleeping on one, but with the benefits I've gotten I can do without the softness. I think some of the Oriental people even use blocks of wood or something like that to rest their heads on!!!
Hope your neck is feeling better soon. That's no fun at all.
Hugs,
Rhonda

The sun is out, and the rain yesterday has made the air beautiful this morning. I am enjoying looking out the window seeing my flowers blooming. A neighbor stopped me yesterday to ask what was that "gorgeous" plant growing on my mailbox. It's a Passionflower vine. Usually I cut it back several times a summer, because you literally see how much it's grown overnight. This year I'm letting it go crazy even across the hibiscus bushes, and it is blooming up a storm.
