Good Morning Everyone,

I just finished reading the Thursday updates... Reading Jazzer Debs post about having lunch with a friend and deciding to take the high road with her eating choices I realized today could go either way for me too and I've got the opportunity to make the best choices for me.

Are you going for anything majorly different with your hair this time? We'll want details.

The Crazy Horse picture is neat. Seeing the people near it helps you realize how huge it is.

Hi, everyone! Well, it's a rest day today. I think the week has caught up to me. I have worked out every day, kept up with 2 jobs, and the baseball **ap! I'm exhausted! Well, tomorrow is another day and I plan on doing cardio and one of my weights videos before I go into work at Dillard's. Have a long work weekend schedule and a LONG work week next week, so I'm sure I will really need that vacation the week after. I bought the Time magazine Donna posted about, Oprah's mag, and a copy of Weight Watcher's mag for reading during vacation. Also have some books from the library. Besides reading, I'd really like to clean out my closet & get rid of some clothes! That and go thru some papers and trash some stuff. Other than those 2 things and time with ds, I'm going to be LAZY during my vacation. I really need some down time for a week. Steinmart said they would only schedule me the hours I wanted that week - see, they are already being absolute dolls over there! I observed operations Wed. night & during the storm, the electricity went out and all the ladies got their cell phones out & called loved ones. Dillard's doesn't allow employees to bring cell phones into their store! One lady's husband picked her up at 8 p.m., and the rest of us left at 8:30 p.m. Dillard's employees told me they stayed until 9:30 p.m. during the storm because management thought the electricity might come back on and they could count down their cash drawers. What a comparison, huh! Another example of Dillard's hardnose policies: one of the sales associates' mother passed away & our manager called in another associate spur of the moment to ask her to cover. The associate brought her 8 yr. old daughter to work as she could not find a babysitter short notice. At the end of the day (Memorial Day to boot!), another manager asked the associate if her daughter had been with her the whole day, grilling her about why she had brought her even after telling her she was called in at the last moment. I told her to use her caller I.D. from now on! LOL! Sheesh, I'd never do them another favor after that kind of treatment!

The Steinmart store manager has assigned me to gifts for the home! My favorite area. I will basically help customers with their selections - how fun!

Jazzerdeb, no I don't have one of those workout balls. The fitness club has some out for use & I have tried crunches with one before. Works you better, I think.

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday and a great weekend! Nancy, I hope you love your new haircut!

I made the noble choice and went for the salad bar. Actually I was so engrossed in the task I was working on just before lunch, I missed the 11:45 gathering time. By the time I looked at my watch it was 12:35 so everyone had left.

I did myself a favor. At the last dim sum feed, I don't remember a lot of any-diet-plan-friendly offerings. Lots of pork, and fried, and starchy carbs. Who eats vegetables at that kind of event?!

Deb it really is scary how much we do eat when we really pay attention and track. The 20 points is really difficult for me unless I have the "special" food in the house and I am highly aware of what I am doing.

Hey it is kind of late in the day and I probley should be posting under the how did you do today. I am home on my lunch break and have read alot of posts and switched some laundry. Heading back to the office in a few but thought I would just say I am fighting to stay within my 20 WW points. I need to work on this awhile and hope I drop some weight. I have about a month left of work and then I can really enjoy, and take the time I need and want for the exercise. For now I am going to look at any exercise I get as a bonus.

Later ladies..........finish up my veggie soup and I am back out the door.

I agree! I knew that I was roughly around 40-50 pts a day...on average.
