Warning this post contains no real fitness or super eating info. I cleaned my closet out and threw out 4 huge bags of stuff. If I hadn't worn in recently I tossed it.I found a shirt I had been looking for awhile I was doing it too.And I had to try on a bunch of stuff. Some stuff was tight, mostly in the waist. But some stuff actually fit better.I think I've lowered the bar and am just much more forgiving of my problem areas. It's been raining all day and only made it to 60!!We cancelled our walk and headed out to lunch.I know I said salad and I did do that. But I also did chicken strips and peanutbutter pie.It was delicious and I enjoyed every bit with no regret. Then when I came home Mom and Dad had been by and dropped off one of those big Coscto pot pies.I've been wanting to try on ever since Oprah raved about them. No cooking for me tonight and what a great meal for a rainy cool night.I also called today to make an appointment with someone new to do my hair. After 20 yrs I'm making a change, scary!I go to her next week for just a trim, I think. Then I told her I want to talk to her about color and set something up for that.I think I'm going back to my natural color, whatever that is!!
So how has everyone else's day gone?Nancy, how did your haircut go?Margie, hope you enjoyed your day off.Anyone have any awesome workouts to talk about?A great day of eating?

Good for you for cleaning out your closet, don't you feel good about it?
Great progress with your closet, Patty! I should do mine again too. I think I wasn't as tough the first go round as I should have been.
I ended up getting a good workout in the yard today even though it was broken up by rain. The grass had gotten thick enough and wet enough that I really had to use my calves, thighs, back, shoulders, and arms to push the mower up and down the little slope in my yard. Twice I found myself mowing in the rain before I'd quit. The 2nd time I was determined to finish. Later in the afternoon I was able to do the edging and blowing and even took the 6' foot ladder out to trim some limbs off trees.
I got 2 loads of laundry done, linens changed, and cooked a good dinner of a pot roast, mashed potatoes, and green beans. I felt guilty after two days of "everyone fend for yourself."
Andie B. called tonight. Actually, her mother did, but Lauren said Andie kept saying she wanted to talk to Robbie, so she let her call. I got to say hi too. They'll get in late tomorrow night, and I can hardly wait!
It's officially the weekend! Hurray!
