Since it's 10:39 pm and there's no check-in for today, might I assume that nobody did anything???? Come on, gang, I know there were workouts and good eating going on - I could hear it. Wanna share?

I had a good eating day and a great workout tonight. I did have eggplant parm for lunch and brought half of it home to be recycled into DH's lunch tomorrow. I drank half my weight in ounces of water (that was really hard to do!) and didn't float away or spend the afternoon or evening in the restroom. For dinner I prepared boneless chicken breasts marinated in McCormick's mesquite marinade, par-cooked in the microwave and par-cooked on the Foreman - kept it nice and moist. The salad was yummy - and DH didn't even want the Carolina chicken-flavored rice I was planning to make him - just 2 slices of Arnold HealthNut bread.

Workout was excellent - all freeweight work (8 lbs for two UB sets, 10 lbs for one), weighted leg lifts front, back and side with 5-lb ankle weights (two 2.5 lb sets Velcro-ed around each ankle), and plie squats. Seated ab crunches pulling 100 lb on weight bench, lat twists and side stretches, 40 min of cardio on treadmill and exercycle, and a pretty good stretching session. Took a long time, but it was as good a workout as I've done lately, despite the humidity that has set in. At least the dungeon was cool and dry. I hope this is the beginning of a high-energy stretch for me - I have to take advantage of them when they arrive!

I will add my day LATE! I did great for me! I got up and hit the treadmill only did 1/2 mile but for me that is wonderful. I did great with my food today and water is never a problem for me to guzzle 96oz. I sat on the floor went outside and played tag with my little daycare kids..my plans are to get my Leslie Sansone tapes back from a friend the end of this month and do one of them at naptime.I finished daycare and did 2 errands came back home and walked another 1/2 mile on the treadmill. So all in all I had a great day!

I did my run earlier in the AM, 3.6 miles in about 35-37 minutes (didn't have a watch where I could time it accurately). Eating was okay, better than previous days, but still not stellar.

When I did my run my legs didn't feel anything from the day before when I did the Body Sculpt with the 10# weights. After the run, I could feel my glutes tightening, of all things. By evening, I was finally feeling it in my thighs! It took about 24 hours before I felt the effects of the new weights!
