A year ago I went to my sister's baby shower.....then a month later my little precious one was born.

Mine usually had a poinsettia or some other commercial Christmas theme. Big red sugary flowers or green sugary trees - a kid's version of heaven - with rum cake, chocolate and vanilla boiled cream, and strawberries or peaches between the layers. All I wanted was devil's food chocolate. The Christmas theme faded over time and my tastes expanded beyond chocolate with my waistline.....

I never thought she'd be big enough so fast to wear the suit/skirt (it's a combo).

Funny that you should say that about the thank-you notes. The kids I used to babysit for had personalized labels and stationary. When ever their was a thank-you to be sent, Shelly (their mom) used the stuff. I always thought it was so sweet. Something I never did for my kids but wished I had.
