1. What's one of the best things you like about where you live?

***Location -- It puts us relatively close to the ocean and in a sunny, hot climate.

2. If you're feeling kind of down, what's an activity that usually makes you feel better?

***If I have a gift certificate, I head for the spa. If not, I head for the beach or the mall.

3. What's a quality in your best friend that drew you to her?

***There are many good qualities, but probably the main one would be caring enough to understand situations and to be supportive.

4. If you have a favorite relative outside your immediate family, what main characteristic do you think makes that person your favorite?

***One of my uncles can always be depended upon to be there when you need him. It makes me feel as though he really loves his brother (Dad) and his family. He also has a great sense of humor.

5. What quality do you think drew your best friend to you?

***I think the same quality that drew me to her -- caring.

1. What's one of the best things you like about where you live? Proximity! Close to the mountains, beach, east coast travel. It's really a toss-up between that and nice affordable housing.

2. If you're feeling kind of down, what's an activity that usually makes you feel better? Reading an article of some sort, gets my mind lost in the writing. Usually when I'm in a funk it's not an instant cure - only a new day is! - but gets me going.

3. What's a quality in your best friend that drew you to her? Genuineness (ie. no airs to try to impress). I can say that about all my friends.

4. If you have a favorite relative outside your immediate family, what main characteristic do you think makes that person your favorite? Genuineness, again, as well as acceptance. Thinking of MIL, and the circles she lived/lives in compared to the lower income "class" I grew up in. Doesn't matter to her.

5. What quality do you think drew your best friend to you? I also hope genuineness. If that's not at the top, I hope it'd be integrity.

yeah - reading is always helpful for me. when i'm really feeling low, i'll cuddle up in a chair with some tea and read and read and read.

and yeah, genuineness and integrity are very high on my list too.

1) The easy going pace of life.

2)running or listening to music

3)I guess I actually consider my sisters to be my best friends and I guess the fact that they are always there for me is what means the most. For another friend who I'm really close to the answer would be that I can tell her anything.

4)I have an aunt who is so unbelieveably sweet.

5)Can tell me anything

1. What's one of the best things you like about where you live? Although I dislike the winter and the cold I would have to say the change of seasons. The beaches here too in the summer.

2. If you're feeling kind of down, what's an activity that usually makes you feel better? Well unfortunatly eatting does go to the top of that list, but other then that talking on the phone with one of my sisters.

3. What's a quality in your best friend that drew you to her?My best friends are my two sisters. We are completely honest with each other, I know I can count of them for anything and they know they can count of me. We share all our ups and downs.

4. If you have a favorite relative outside your immediate family, what main characteristic do you think makes that person your favorite? I kind of consider Bill's Aunt immediate family but I guess you mean like Bill, myself and the kids. So anyway, Aunt Linda is like the glue that holds his side of the family together. Her and her husband Uncle John are just so giving.

5. What quality do you think drew your best friend to you? We are sisters, we are close. I wish I knew why. Maybe because they trust me as much as I trust them.
