Loved the part that you wrote down your bread, M&M's, and almonds. ;-)

Morning Deb, it is very hard to stay within 20 points. That is why they allow us the 35 flex points, but even with these I find it difficult. I have been in such a funk lately I have jouneled anything I need to restart. I think Monday will be my restart day. It was kind of nice to hear how I am not alone in my daily struggle.

Yes they do, constantly changing it. The old saying why fix it if it aint broke. I think they like the confuse the crap out of us, honestly. The old plan from 10 years ago worked well with me and I lost a ton of weight. It has taken me like 10 tries at this point value system for it to sink in and I think I finally figured it out, now they are going to change again...........oy vey!

I decided to start today instead of Monday. I found an old Journel that I had only written two days worth of food in. I whited out the stuff and wrote down my breakfast. I had my tea with skim milk and my bowl of Puffins cereal with skim. So that is 2.5 points for breakfast. Heading upstairs to finish making the beds and then drive to the bank. Then a walk or tape. Thanks for making me think again!

I have one of those spiral-bound paper journals...that I will keep in my purse, my friend writes it all down and subtracts as she eats or decides what to order.

Why did you decline? You should have gone. Half of my problem is loneilness, I wish I had girlfriends to do these kind of things with. Take today as an example, I am going to be alone all day. My one sister is up in Conn. and my mom went to visit with her, my other sister has her kids and has tons of running to do. My dd is going off to see Teddy Roosevelts house with her girl friend then her overnight with the inlaws. Very sad isn't it?

Deb

PS: I think maybe a small notebook might do me some good too. This way I can keep a journel whether or not I rejoin the weekly meetings.

Welcome to the do it alone club. I wish I had someone to be accountable to with the WW on a daily basis. I get so lonely sometimes, I can't stand it. My family is even wondering why I took classes on again because I said I didn't want to be tied down to teaching when I wanted to get away. They don't I understand that I have to get out and be around people. Teaching makes me get out and exercise as well as see people. Of course I regret when I want to go see the kids and grandkids.

Well..today looks like a bust. DH told me he was working all day and we would go to that gathering tonight. Now, he came home early and is going fishing! So...I am alone today too. I feel llike I got kicked in the gut again. My sis lives in Fl so I don't have her around. I won't live through my dds either. They have their own lives and they don't have to entertain me. I am so p*ssed I cleaned my butt off in this house yesterday to free up my day today.

I did the best on WW when I first joined a few years back. It was the plan when you had a range of 18 to 25 pts for my weight. There were no exercise points until after you did 20 minutes of exercise. Also, fiber grams over 4 were counted and a lot of foods were only 1 point. In other words...I was eating more and losing weight. Also, carrots, onions, etc were still free veggies!

Once they changed it, I couldn't make it work anymore. It is so depressing to count down from 20 pts and see how fast they get gobbled up.

I really need to do something.

Because my favorite circuit class is at the same time on Saturdays (and I only see this instructor once a week), and one of my gf's is a Weight Watcher leader (we eat out a lot together so I'm learning)--and she's been giving me one on one guidance.
