Good Morning,

It is a certainly a Sunny Saturday in this neck of the woods. It is just so beautiful outside-the sky is that beautiful deep blue! What's the weather where you are? Is it nice so that you're thinking of a run or a walk? Or perhaps a day at the beach? Is it hunker down and tackle the housework? Or do you have things on the agenda that you really enjoy? What's your plan for the day? Whatever it's a good one for you!

I'm really not sure what's on the agenda for today. I spoke to the dr's office last night and I've been taken off the 3rd medication. Everything is back to the drawing board as far as bringing the bp back down and the swelling will still have to be addressed. My tests are scheduled for Tuesday and I have an appointment with the dr Tuesday PM. So I've been told to keep my feet elevated as much as possible. Guess that will be my excuse to sit out in the beautiful sunshine today. Otto will be heading out the door in a few minutes for a day at the doggie spa, a trip to the grocery store for me and if I don't get some laundry done I'll be going to work on Monday with dirty clothes or else naked-wouldn't want to subject any one to that :)! It's my SIL's birthday today so we'll be heading there later in the day and that's about the day for me.

Hope yours is a good one!

Susan

Believe it or not I have absolutly nothing to do. Bill took Robbie out to NJ for some time with his car. Katie is going to my inlaws for an overnight and she should leave around 2. I have house work but then again I always have house work. Right now I think I will take this morning tea and sit outside on my front porch and enjoy this beautiful weather. Maybe after some cleaning up and a shower and then a ride over to the library. I can give my sister a call and see what she has going to. I tried to get together later but SOME people were busy, oh well another time. Maybe a trip to the nursery and buy a flat of some flowers and plant then in the front garden bed. I really should enjoy being alone but I really do not like it. Either way it should be a relaxing day. Hope everyone else has a relaxing day.

Susan I hope you get some answer about the BP. I am sure its fustrating especially when you take care of what you eat, and how much you move around. It is not supposed to be like that. Keep those piggies up as much as possible, I can send you a bell if the family is not responding quick enough.

It's sunny here and should be in the upper 90's. Rob is in Orlando with my niece's family, so it's very quiet around here. I sure miss him when he's gone. I gave all the toys to the children yesterday, including Andie's early birthday present for next month. She LOVES crushed or shaved ice (as do I), so I got her a real sno-cone maker, 2 large bottles of syrup, and some sno-cone cups and straws. She was excited. I figured they could do that for a cool treat for the kids in Orlando as long as they took them outside.

Cheryl and I spent some "quality" time shopping around the mall and having dinner in the food court. I had a turkey breast salad from Subway. Ate half and brought the other half home to finish as I watched the Reagan funeral. For the Cowford Ball, I found a really cute red bandana print shirt on sale for $12.50 to match the band I put on my cowboy hat and 2 cute denim skirts I'm trying to decide between -- one is straight with a split in the front and some spandex in it for $9.50 and the other is below the knee with some gores in it to give it flare for $12.75. You can't beat those Dillard's sales!! The fuller skirt looks more country, but it's too big, so I'd have to have it altered and I probably wouldn't wear it again except in a costume kind of way. The straight one I could wear again, so I'm torn. I'd like to find some cowboy boots for cheap, since I don't really wear them other than for theme type functions. We had to leave when the mall closed, but could have easily stayed a couple more hours.

I think Tim and I will go to the beach today. There's a triathlon there this morning, so we may just take our time getting there. Parking will be a problem. At 4, our new next door neighbors are having an open house. They're providing all the food and drinks and said "no gifts," so I got them a welcome card and we may just head over there for a little while later today.

Enjoy your Saturday!

I just couldn't get out of bed this morning! So...I didn't fight it and was very lazy. Finally did get up and scrubbed the bathroom and did some more housecleaning after a cup of decaf tea. I went out for my first walk but only lasted about 25 minutes. The sunshine and pleasant temperature felt wonderful. Feet started to hurt and I decided to start out slowly and be able to go out more often. Joints are really stiff in the feet at the surgical sites but I did find a pair of shoes that did not hurt the neuroma.

Don't know what the rest of the day will bring. I really feel like just going somewhere and pouting since today is a bust otherwise.

Tomorrow is another celebration day. I am making dinner and bringing it to DD's house so we can celebrate my b'day as well as son in laws. How come everything seems to revolve around food? Oh, boy, am I in a funk!

Let me go before I ruin everyone's weekend.

So glad you called the doctor about you symptoms on the third medication, Susan. I was concerned about your fatigue and swelling. Good luck with your tests on Tuesday.

Hope you do get your feet up as much as possible, but you already have things planned for today. Can you elevate at your SIL's after your grocery shopping and laundry chores? I got a mind's picture of me going to teach a class naked and oh my, if that isn't enough to make me go on a crash diet!!

Enjoy the sushine today. It is glorious out today!

Hey, Deb...when will I learn to just make plans for myself and not depend on others to do things? I now wish we did get together today. Here I thought I was being nice and being here for DH. Sheesh! Most times I enjoy my alone time, but not on the weekends. Weekends were always family time unless DH was working overtime and it just isn't that way with everyone being adults now.

I AM glad I got out and walked today. It helped me feel better that I did something good for me. I do want to go out and sit in the yard and actually catch up on some reading. Yeah...that is what I'll do! The DaVinci Code is waiting for me.

Hope you can enjoy and relax today. If not...give me a call. :)

Hi, Rhonda...looks like we east coasters are enjoying a nice sunny day today. Too cool to go to the beach today here, but it is so beautiful otherwise, it is ok.

What a great visit you are having with family. You seem to have so much to do with them when they are visiting. Lots of catching up to do with the little ones when they are around.

Nice bargains you got at Dillards. You really go all out wardrobe wise with this ball coming up. If you have to get the full skirt altered, it might be wise to go with the straight one. Now that one is a bargain!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

I posted but it disappeared.

As I said somewhere else, got a 730am call from my friends asking one more time for me to go to WW meeting with them.

Susan, thinking about you and hope these issues get resolved soon.

Got in a walk with my sister this morning. This is a big day for our family, the last kid graduates tonight. My sister has 2 daughters and the first graduated year before last. Last year my son graduated and now my sisters daughter tonight.Seems like just yesterday we were getting thru first grade.

Grace, sending you hugs, sounds like a tough day.I hate when I make plans with someone and they change them.
