How is everyone this morning? Are you keeping things simple today? Are you waking up to a beautiful day? Workout plans? Family plans? What's on the agenda for the day? Whatever it is I hope it shapes up to be a good one!

Good Morning,

Hope you're all looking at a great day ahead. It's very quiet in my house this morning-DH is still sleeping and even Otto has yet to arise. Meanwhile I have one load of clothes folded, one whirring in the dryer and another sloshing in the washer. Nothing specific on the agenda. I have errands to run today and hope to spend some time in my outside chair with my book. I definitely have a sitting still problem.

We went to my SIL's last night and baby Joseph was there. There's still no news on what's causing these seizures. They've only ruled out petite mal seizures because he's too young. The good thing is that they have found a wonderful pediatric neurologist. They're very comfortable with her and they have a lot of confidence in her. Apparently there are two types of seizures that a child of his age can suffer from. One is an infant type that he will grow out of and the other that he won't. They will probably know more after his MRI and further EEG's. Please continue to keep him and the family in your prayers. He is just such a little sweetheart.

Really no other earthshaking events going on around here. Hope your Sunday is simply wonderful!

Good morning, Susan and everyone else.A nice simple quiet day sounds nice. It's the usual stuff here; work, workout, watch it rain.I need one day of complete sunshine and the time to just lay out in it and soak it up.Does anyone else just long for a day when you have nothing you have to get done?Does such a day exsist????

Graduation was nice yesterday.A young man who was in special ed received his diploma and looked at it and cried. So moving.

We all went by Mom and Dads afterward and were talking about the special moments of the ceremony. My older neice ,who is really sweet, was talking about the things that made her cry.I was thinking what a softie she was when she added that she remembered she did not have on waterproof mascara and had to pull herself together.LOL

I'm off to the land of chickens where the excitement never ends. Have a goo one!!!

Believe it or not yesterday was my day to nothing special. I sat my butt in my chair outside and read for about 1 1/2 hours. Had the entire house to myself. Went out to dinner with Billy and that was nice. He even treated!

Today should be nice. I am already showered and dressed and I just got back from the bakery with hot, fresh hard rolls. Going to make a few sandwiches and then head out the door when Bill is done in the shower. Friends of ours have some property they are building a house on in Mass. So they asked us if we wanted to take a nice Sunday drive up to see it. So that is what we are up to today. Katie is with Nanna and Papa, the boys will more then likely sleep most of this beautiful day away but hey that is what 14 and 19 years olds do. Hope everyone has a great day and gets to unwind and relax some.

Susan please keep us posted about Joseph. The family is still in my thoughts and prayers. Patti did someone forget to tell those chickens its Sunday?

That was a special moment during the graduation for that young man. Sounds like your niece is a very caring person.

I hope you get some sunny days and the chance to enjoy them soon.

Tim and the dogs are still in bed here. Got 3 loads of laundry done yesterday, so that is out of the way.

Is Joseph continuing to have seizures, or did he have some a while back? I am praying that they are not the permanent kind. Those are difficult on adults, muchless on such a small child.

Hope you enjoy your Sunday.

Hi,

I don't know if you remember me or not. I have not posted in a long time. I have been reading your posts on and off, but I have simply been too busy to add one myself.

However my last child has graduated and I'm told by friends that life will slow down. I'm hoping I have time to post occasionally on this board and to get to know you all a bit better...if that's OK with you!

It is a beautiful day here in SD. This past week we got 2 inches of much needed rain. I went for a walk this morning as the rest of my family slept. The birds are chirping, there's a gentle breeze and everything is a beautiful shade of green. After church, my husband and I hope to go driving. My son yesterday said he wanted to try his hand at cooking chicken on the grill. So if all goes well, we'll have tasty chicken for supper tonight.

We're off to a slow start around here today. Tim and the dogs are still in bed, and I can hear it calling my name. I stayed up too late again.

"Big Fish" is on Moviebeam now, so we watched that again. It is such a neat and unique movie. I went to the beach by myself for about an hour yesterday. The weather was gorgeous (hit 100 for a while), but the tide was too high to find many sharks' teeth. Came home to go to our new neighbors' open house for about 1/2 an hour, then we impulsively decided to go back to the beach. Tim walked along with me enjoying the breeze and chatting. Still not much luck due to the tide, but we enjoyed people watching, playing with some of the dogs down there, and seeing a few dolphins. We made a run through McDonald's for some McFlurries, then came home.

I talked to Lauren, Rob, and Andie on the phone yesterday evening. They're having a very good time and said the resort is gorgeous with so much to do. I'm eager to see it.

Today, we'll head in to visit Mom, Dad, Cheryl, and maybe Lisa, but I'm not sure about anything other than that.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Welcome back, Donna! We have another Donna on the board too.

Having a son learn to grill is a great help. My 15 yr. old has been doing it and it's wonderful to have him take care of the meat while I just have to do the veggies. Sometimes, he even does asparagus on the grill.

Susan,

I don't know if you remember me. I did post several months ago, but I have been so busy....I have been following your posts about your grandson because mine is going through a similar situation.

I understand your concern with that little guy having seizures. My grandson who turned two has had three of them. He even had one after the dr put him on medicine. They have increased the dose. We are hoping the seizures are fever related. I will keep your little guy in my prayers.
