Good morning everyone! Can you believe it's another Monday, another week?Do you have your day and your week planned, or are you winging it?
Yesterday in the Sunday comics Garfield was thinking about what birthdays bring.First he thought grey hair and wrinkles. Then his face lit up because he remembered cake!!!!LOL Sometimes it takes awhile to find the good in something.
What's up with everyone today? We're almost halfway thru June, how's the goals going?Anyone reward themselves if they meet their goals?
Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!!!

Hi, Patty! Your excitement is catching! I am waiting to catch it. I am so tired right now from teaching those 2 classes this morning and waiting way too long to eat. I couldn't eat before...it was too early and I was a little nervous about teaching step again.
I think highs bring in the good weather and lows bring in the "lousy" weather. That is what the local meteoroligist says. The heat and humidity has to do with the jet stream, I think. MY DS is good with that stuff...I will have to ask him. We are waiting for another rainy day here.
I am mostly winging it this week except for my exercise. I plan to make healthy choices and will try to stay within the WW points. New day, new week, new beginning.
Enjoy your workout.

Hugs Lori! Sorry you are down but you shouldn't stay away when you are. Let's call it a vent and it is good to vent. It is much better than keeping it in and then using food to help feel better. I think your 3 lbs landed on me too, so don't feel too badly. Here I was going to make June the best month yet and I am gaining instead of losing. I kind of whined on Saturday, so we all take our turns. Funny how I didn't post much either because of

Hello, Susan...it is better to listen to the doc right now and "keep your feet up". The housework, especially the laundry doesn't seem to end. I hope the work day is pleasant for you today and nothing happens to raise the BP. Don't let those coworkers get to you.
I thought I was caught up with the laundry too and then DD ended up doing 2 loads. I don't know where DD and her fiance are hiding their other dirty clothes. I try to do it because with this weather it gets sour smelling if it lays around too long. I am glad DD took the hint and did it herself yesterday. There is still 2 more loads to do. Good grief! Does someone else drop their laundry off here?
Still keeping Joseph in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us up to date on how he is doing.
Good luck with your tests tomorrow. It is tomorrow, right? Thinking of you.

Sounds as though you had a very busy, but good, weekend.

Shoot! I did a long response to you and a pop-up came up and made me lose it. Arrrrgh!
Margie, so glad to hear your grandson is healing well and that the scar is minimal. I know that has to be a relief.
The obesity stats for kids and adults are shocking. The long term health effects are very scary.
Hope you get good weather all week. We got Tim a hammock years ago that is really nice. I think it's a Pawley Island one made in SC. I've been trying to get him to get it out of the shed and set it up under the tangelo tree. I could really go for that!!
Thanks for the prayers.

Of course I will keep DD in my thoughts and prayers that she will get the guidance she needs and everything will work out. So hard to watch the kids go through things when we can't really help them. Hugs!
I definitely would consider mowing the lawn a workout. I know I would sweat bullets pushing the lawn mower around...it was not a self propelled one even though it was a power mower. You must be having good lawn growing weather to have to do it twice a week. Either that or too much fertilizer. Our lawn just started getting into the once a week schedule which is now done by a lawn company. DH didn't want to mow once I stopped doing it after the lawn mower died and he bought one I hated. I

Glad to see that you are starting the week with no damage from Saturday's yummy food, Donna. Oh, strawberries....they are great when in season. You must have had a high activity level to accomplish that!
Watch out for those hedgeclippers...it gets addictive trimming the bushes. I can get carried away. Then I have to pick up all the stuff that dropped...I always forget to save energy for that.
Have a super week! What a good start for you!
