Hi Deb. I was one of those daily weighers for a long time. But, I gave up. Now, I usually weigh myself on a Monday morning, naked, before I have anything to eat or drink. At least I know then that I'm consistent! I've learned not to let the weight shifts get me too upset. Often they are just water/sodium gains. The other thing is that my scale is very tempermental!! Depending on where I step on it, my weight can fluctuate by 3-4 lbs. I'm not sure why I even bother anymore!! LOL

I am a daily weigher. Of course I was up today and I am in a funk. It does ruin my mood. However, I use a once a week weight as my official weight. I used to go to WW on Tuesday, so I tend to use that day as official weight day even though I like Friday's better.

I wish I could stay off it, but I am afraid of gaining even more if I don't weigh all the time.

Two or three times a week. Enough to tell, not enough to beat myself up over for seeming obsessive. Used to weigh every day. Like Grace, it really affected my mood negatively if the numbers were up. There's enough around to put me in a bad mood, so why add something else?

Wow, I couldn't wait to see what was at the end of "how often do you.....

I sometimes weigh every day if I remember to do it first thing in the morning. And if I don't like that number then I go work in CL for a few hours in 90 degree heat and get back on after I come out of there. If I still don't like that number I just throw a towel on the scale and stay off of it for a few days.Lately with my cycle I really see a jump in the numbers.

We do not own a scale and maybe I really should buy one. If I got on it more often it might help keep me accountable.

I try to hold it down to once a week, but sometimes I get obsessive and do it daily.

I weigh first thing each morning, and I can pretty much predict what it will say up or down a lb. or so. I can just feel it. Whatever I weigh is my own fault or to my credit, so I don't get too worked up about it. I regret that I've gained weight, but again, I have mostly myself to blame for that.
