So what are you going to do for extra credit today?Workout alittle longer?Step away from a donut?Be patient with someone who gets on your last nerve?Spend time listening to someone who just needs to talk.Sometimes we're the only one who knows we did the extra. And in grownup life maybe there isn't always credit given. But you know what you did and can feel so good about it.
So what's up today?Working out hard, taking it easy?Watching your food, eating what you want?Good weather, bad weather?
Susan, thinking about you as you go thru yet more tests.Hope these give the drs the answers they need to help you feel better.Lori, thinking about you and hoping LAD works and that this week is better.Nancy, keeping your DD in our thoughts.Yours as well, Rhonda.Shar, I've missed you but it sounds like you have had wonderful family time.Always love reading your posts.Donna, why am I still thinking of M&Ms??????Must I remind you of the impressionable thing????
Have a fantastic day gang!!!

They've taken my 90 degree day away.BU**ER Pool probably won't open til Thursday if then.Yesterday I did have some sun while I was running which was wonderful.Of course by the last couple laps the clouds didn't seem like such a bad thing.
So who went home and whistled for the neighbors dog????Still laughing over Grace's "gentle thoughts".
Hope your day is filled with wonderful things!

Extra credit today, huh?

So how would I go about getting extra credit on these tests today :)! I've already been asked by one rather obnoxious child whether I had studied or not-has to be the teacher in here that she just had to get that one in! Nothing to drink or eat this morning has of course made me droll over anything edible and of course extra thirsty and dreaming of large cups of coffee! Anyway, glad when all of this is over once again. I would like on one hand for some answers but of course with answers can sometimes bring on a whole new set of problems but I will admit I'm just tired of this. Tonight will be a check in with the doctor and see what he has to say.
Weather started off beautiful but is rapidly declining. It would probably be a good day to rain solely for the fact that DH is very upset with himself that he didn't water his backyard crops last night because it was supposed to rain last night.
I'll do my best to bring some extra credit to someone somewhere!
Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Susan
Sorry about the you-know-whats, Patty. I hope the chickens act up today, at least to take your mind off them and absolve me of my guilt! I don't think I'm doing anything for extra credit. I suppose I could stay away from the KK outlet up the road a couple blocks, but that's easy - I don't like them. Maybe I can resist a java-chip frappucino blended creme from Starbucks for the 3rd day in a row (tried one last week and almost swooned). Or the steamed hot-dog-and-sauerkraut stand on the corner across the street, the one that also has a soft-serve ice cream machine. See? Lots of food temptations on every corner, all of them cheap, none of them elegant, and in their complete lack of health benefits they all look more appealing than salad!
Lunch today - probably the stupid salad, but the equally stupid hotdog-with-sauerkraut is looming large in my mind. Dinner - Boston Market chicken, with side orders to be determined. Workout tonight is cardio (30-40 min or 3 mi, whichever comes first) and freeweights. Ok, maybe for extra credit - 3 miles on the exercycle.
Susan - Good luck today! Rhonda - Have fun "downstate" (how far is that from your home, anyway? Are you joining Rob at the resort? Have a great time relaxing for a few days!
Have a good Tuesday!

Al's got swim lessons at 11am today provided it's not storming. I'll get Body Sculpt in today, along with abs work, and I've got some peaches that need eating. Had a good 4-mile run last night at a great pace (a little over 9-1/2 minutes per mile).
Just to catch everyone up: I was really itching to get to the beach this weekend for a day trip. That didn't pan out, because a front was moving in slowly, and the forecast showed more chance of the wet stuff than the usual "Isolated PM thundershowers". (We've had 2-1/2 inches of rain since Friday - much needed.) So instead, we packed a picnic lunch and went to a nearby lake with a free "beach" and swimming area. Coarse red sand, but well-maintained beach area, pilings and ropes containing the swimming area, water so clear you could stand in it up to your shoulders, look down, and still see your feet. Allison had a blast; The Cus and I had a very relaxing time, though he got sunburned on the part of his back he couldn't reach. Only bummer was the bathroom facilities, which went out of order (I don't think that day was how it usually is), so I might scope out some other area recreational lakes which might have better facilities. I don't mind a charge like $5 a carload or so. Anyway, after we left the lake, we stopped by a Sonic for ice cream - my idea to stretch out the fun of the day. In catching up on posts, I see I'm not the only one currently hung up on M&Ms - I had a Sonic M&M Blast.
Glad to be checking in again!
