Remember when we were in school and had extra credit questions on our tests? I usually needed them!!!And of course there were always the kids who got 100+ because they knew all the answers!!!

So what are you going to do for extra credit today?Workout alittle longer?Step away from a donut?Be patient with someone who gets on your last nerve?Spend time listening to someone who just needs to talk.Sometimes we're the only one who knows we did the extra. And in grownup life maybe there isn't always credit given. But you know what you did and can feel so good about it.

So what's up today?Working out hard, taking it easy?Watching your food, eating what you want?Good weather, bad weather?

Susan, thinking about you as you go thru yet more tests.Hope these give the drs the answers they need to help you feel better.Lori, thinking about you and hoping LAD works and that this week is better.Nancy, keeping your DD in our thoughts.Yours as well, Rhonda.Shar, I've missed you but it sounds like you have had wonderful family time.Always love reading your posts.Donna, why am I still thinking of M&Ms??????Must I remind you of the impressionable thing????

Have a fantastic day gang!!!

Miss P

If "buff" or "best eatin' behavior" is the Asheville goal... I ain't goin'! Hahahaha!

No, I am *definitely* going for the friendships and fun. I have no intention of letting a few desserts or drinks going unconsumed!

I am still chuckling over them myself. I think I am going to have to print them out so I can read them whenever I need to uplift my mood.

I don't understand why the manufacturers change things especially when things are a good seller. If they are all sold, you would think they would make more. I am still looking for my best fitting jeans. I am now down to one pair that fits from Old Navy. I think I should look for another pair before they change them or discontinue them too.

Another busy day for you. I don't know how you do it in that heat! Keep well hydrated and don't overdo.

Hugs

Good afternoon, all! Hey, Patty...didn't even notice the typo! I guess our brains work alike. As long as it looks sort of right and I get the gist, it is fine with me. I will give you extra credit just for posting so early! In a way, you are a morning person.

Doing stuff around the house here today and gearing up to teach the Pilates class later. After yesterday's 2 1/4 hours of exercise, I am ok with being a slug today. It is sticky today which makes me even lazier.

Just finished eating breakfast/brunch. Here I was home this morning and still didn't eat before 11. I did make

Okay...now I am singing another song from the past! Swimming sounds good...I always liked it too and I don't remember not being able to swim. I have been thinking about swimming laps myself. Two of the gyms I teach at now have swimming pools and I just might take advantage of it. I put on a bathing suit the other day to get some sun in the yard. I am at that point too...oh, well, it is hot and I am going to wear a bathing suit and cover your eyes if it is too horrible to look at. Gotta live!

You are doing well...LAD and Loricise! I think you should market it!

Not planning on being noble, food-wise, in Asheville, either! I'm saving that for home. And, if I might brag a little, I'm drowning in my own nobility at the moment - I opted for the stupid salad instead of the hotdog. In addition to all those places I posted about before, Burger King and Wendy's are not too far a walk on a muggy day. After doing an errand at the CVS next door, I went to Burger King and got one of their fire-grilled salads, with shrimp for a change instead of chicken. It's VERY tasty, even with only a little bit of dressing on it.

There's still the matter of getting past the three Startbucks on the way home later....

BTW, have you heard that Starbucks is increasing their beverage prices, due to the cost of milk?? Does this mean it becomes "Fivebucks" instead of "Fourbucks"? In either event, I know for me it now becomes "a rare treat".
