How did your day go? Did George call? Did you get your workout in? Healthy dose of H2O? Or did you have a relaxing day? Hectic day at work? Hectic day at home? Did you eat healthy or are chocolate chips cookies doing more than dancing in your head? Lots of questions...so let's hear your answers. Inquiring minds need to know!

It had been a very good day for me in this neck of the woods. Except for the fact that I haven't gotten a workout in. Now that I've been out of the loop on that one for over a week I'm going to need to get myself back in gear. Contemplating something after dinner and post walk with Otto. We'll see how the energy level is at that point in time. H20 consumption was very good inspite of feeling like I was inside a refrigerator for most of the day. Eating was been excellent today although I still need to make it through the difficult post dinner period-which has been very difficult for me lately. Work was good although I have to say there are some very strange people out there! Well need to attend to dinner making now-Shrimp Creole is on the menu-DS' favorite meal. The kid is flying off to Colorado tomorrow morning so Mama feels the need to feed her son well tonight!

Hope you've had a good day and enjoy a pleasant evening.

actually, i got a really good workout in today. amazing. weightlifting - back stuff: deadlifts and rows and bicep curls and back extensions... note to self: don't raise the deadlift bar just a little more with just your arms - move the couch. (and start using more weight on the deadlift!)

food was good. and we went shopping and bought good stuph - lots of fruits and such. okay - bedtime pretty soon for me. hope everyone else had a good day.

I got in an excellent run today. Hit the treadmill and went for a shorter faster run. Then later I went for a walk with my sister. In between chickens and mowing the yard I set the Palace Pool up.Tomorrow after a run or chickens or both I will be jumping in there.

Food has been ok by my standards ,really bad for most people's standards.I've learned how to do chicken strips in the microwave which was a big mistake. Now I can have something fast and easy and that I love.I swear I reached in for a salad and came out with 3 strips and honey mustard.I did grab a peach later which is good.Tomorrow I'll do better.Have to , think I'm out of chicken strips :)

I haven't gotten any chocolate chip cookies .....yet

Today, I did a 3 mile powerwalk & may yet get in a weights workout. Today is the first day I actually came in under my 20 points allowance. Being busy and not chained to a desk certainly does help with controlling food intake!

Work today was nothing short of awful! However, I did get a good walk in over my lunch break. I was home early enough to make a good supper for my two men, DH and DS, And I even went for a very nice walk after supper. I guess the day is going to turn out alright after all.

Another good day here! I'm going to enjoy them as long as they last. Then if George wants to call, that's fine. I had a healthy lunch, drank a good amount of H20, snacked smart, took my night off from exercise, and am trying to figure out something light to eat to keep a good thing going. I have melon, orange juice, lemon or peach yogurt, and pineapple chunks in the cupboard, so I might make a smoothie. I'll figure something out.

I took a walk back up to Wendy's today to try again to get one of their salads. While I was standing in line, the smell of the cooking got to me, kind of spun my stomach around. I didn't hang around for the salad, but got a healthier one from a good salad bar place. That same thing happened to me waiting for my shrimp salad at Burger King yesterday. I'm not sick, but those heavy aromas got to me. I'm not used to them anymore. Maybe that's a good thing?

That smoothie thing sounds good. Going to prepare it now, then get off the computer so DH can call his brother in CA.

Have a pleasant evening!

I'm very pleased with myself that I really did have not just a good day but I made it a great day by getting a workout in. All the time I was walking Otto this evening I was thinking of the various ice cream treats in the freezer. Some of them not so bad for you and some of them, well should just be thinking of them and not consuming them. So the idea was to do some form of workout and then if I still wanted it I would indulge. I did a 30 minute Ta Bo tape (which I very well may regret in the morning) and then 30 minutes of stretching and now the only thought in my head is a nice shower (which I'm sure the family will appreciate by the looks of me), turning on the ac and sitting in bed with a new magazine and going to bed!

Didn't get the bathrooms done, but at least did the master shower - one chore you can do naked without wondering if the neighbors will see you through open blinds! LOL! We had a good lunch with The Cus, and did a few errands afterwards. I also started making his birthday cake. For a workout, it was in the evening again, between 8-9pm and I stuck with the Cardio doing everything on the tape but the shoulder lifts with the arms in a wide V. I hate that move and I've yet to see why I'll ever need to lift something over my head with straight arms while I'm leaning over a stool....

Snacking, only 2 choco chip cookies (i made sure they had plenty of chocolate for the antioxidants!). The Cus's office had a box of doughnuts in there, and Allison and I split a cream filled one after lunch which prevented me from having a whole one at least. Since we had leftovers for lunch, dinner was lighter with cottage cheese and strawberries. OTOH, it's hard not to sample the batter and icing when making a birthday cake!
