So what's up for today?Workout plans, food plans all set?Taking a day off from it all?

Good Morning and TGIF!

The week has gone by pretty quickly especially with a day off thrown in there rather unexpectedly! I did get a workout in last night-WATP video and then some weights. The weather has yet to make up its mind this morning and haven't had the news on so I guess I'll be surprised!

Off to work in a bit and then maybe grocery shopping after work and then home where it will just be Otto and me for the the evening. DH is going fishing after work, younger DD is going to MA to visit her BF, older DD and a friend are cooking dinner for their respective BF's and DS is away, although you really can't count him as he is more like a hotel guest-in one door and out the other. So that leaves me to decide which take out menu to select from! Anyone want to come to my house for a pajama party? Food for some reason is always an issue on Friday-it's sort of my day not to think about it too much. Undecided about a playtime this evening.

Hope the day treats you well!

Yes, the week is nearly over and it's been a busy one here, too.

well breakfast was a disaster. we grabbed a cappuccino and brioche(croissant filled with apple filling) on the way to taking Alex to the train station for work in Genova.

I'm home alone all weekend. Looking forward to a chance to get stuph done without him.

Lunch was great - salmon involtini (kinda rollups with misc seafood and breadcrumbs) browned in olive oil, then cooked with white wine, cherry tomatos, lemon slices and radicchio until the radicchio wilted. ate it with a small glass of white wine. yum. good proteins, good fats, and yummy! lowcal too... ;-)

dinner is going to be more seafood (the fishstand is open today, can you tell?). pasta with seafood/shrimp ragu, and grilled fish. i bought an eggplant - i'm thinking of saving it for tomorrow.

i'm planning a lowerbody workout this afternoon. not sure whether i'm going to do a video or a set of weight exercises... we'll see.

when i do weights and cardio in the same day, i always do weights first. a little warmup first, but then hit the weights, which takes serious concentration and focus. then later i do cardio. for me, the weights are the priority, so if i run out of energy, i know i did them. also, i can focus, so i'm less likely to get hurt. but yeah, doing both the same day is a lot.

We're going to have hot weather today--my plan is Jazzercise this am, Jazzercise at the prison, then we're going to a Belly Dance Jam 8-10 tonight.

I don't run out of energy Nancy because I don't work very hard at other things during the day.

I sure think it's Fabulous! Got another To Do list, this time in preparation for heading up to MIL's. Looking forward to temps about 10 degrees lower than here (also in the 90s with heat index close to 100) and drier mountain air.

So, I've got a tad of ironing to do, packing, running the dishwasher and emptying the trash, stuff like that. I'm watering the back lawn right now. I'll try to get in a workout before we leave, I should be able to - Body Sculpt with UB/LB and abs. So, I'd better get a-crackin' here!

Hi, Pattycakes! I'm going to try to get on the AOL browser late tonight (my work's email, so I can't get on during the day & my AOL Anywhere is just not working well), but anyway, I'm going to try to email you tonight. Thanks for your email, btw.

Hope all of you lovely ladies are doing fine. I'm taking it super easy this week. DS and I will go eat lunch out at Applebee's in a bit - will let you know, Jazzerdeb, how the WW selections I make taste. Steinmart went well last night - my supervisor actually told me I should take a 15 min. break! I'm not used to that! We're wearing our Steinmart T's and polos w/khakis or jeans tonight & Sat. - very casual for our big sale.

I will do a weights workout today. Getting ready to do my devotional right now & then it's off to lunch, pick up final Dillard's paycheck (it better be a whopper with 50 hours of vacation), go see if I can find a new watch & maybe a shirt for ds at American Eagle or Steinmart.

Have a great Friday!

I was wondering how things were going for you at Steinmart. Happy to hear you're doing so well!
