So how was Tuesday? Any thrills come your way? Was it a tedious Tueday? Did temptation come and tease you and get in your way of good eating? Or were you able to whisk the temptation away and have a good day? Any interesting new menu ideas or snack ideas? Do you feel healthy and fit after a terrific workout or are you still toying with the idea of what to do or if you should just wait until tomorrow? Tell all!

My meeting today was productive with the four women who've worked on the Cowford Ball for years. I knew I could learn a lot from them and took lots of notes. I see a trip to a crowded warehouse in my near future to look through and see what props and games are left from previous years. From there, I'll know what needs to be ordered or made.

I couldn't make myself eat breakfast this morning, which is very unusual for me, but I had a healthy grilled chicken, cashew, and artichoke salad that was very good. I had a banana and a little yogurt later this afternoon, and dinner was cereal. I just can't handle anything heavier right now.

By the time I left the restaurant, took Rob to a friend's house, and went to the store, I had that hot, clammy feeling like when you have a fever. I checked the board and some emails, then took a nap. I don't feel hot any more, but I'm congested again, so took more medicine. I'm hoping it will kick in soon. Other than an occasional cough and sounding like an older Lucille Ball, I'm doing better.

It was a rainy afternoon here and is still overcast. I may walk out and take a look at the flowers before it gets dark.

How was everyone else's day?

You know I have to say I felt pretty thrilled with my workout today.I felt happy and healthy afterwards.I've had a good day though it seems like I haven't accomplished alot.I enjoyed having DS around this morning. But by next week I'll be ready to have him go back to his regular routine.DH has been around alot today too and I just can't seem to get much done when they are here.

Food has gone pretty well today.I got out my South Beach Diet book...again.Tomorrow I may actually read it ....again.I have been thinking about what Lori said about salads with her meals.I've been trying to have a salad and lots of veggies with my meals. Also have done well grabbing apples during the day instead of cookies and things.

Trying to decide about a short walk before tucking my chickens in.Possibly I may only walk as far as my hammock.

Tuesday was better than Monday, which was better than last Friday, with a really good weekend in between, so things are looking up this week. Maybe I'll get to this Friday feeling great instead of feeling like I stumbled into it.

Workout is on hold until 9/9:30. Ate too much at dinner (Chinese food - seems to be the most satisfying meal when AF comes callin'), so it needs to settle before I can exercise. I'll be doing 30 min cardio and freeweights for UB and LB. Then I'll shower and hit the feathers - no, Patty, not real birds - until tomorrow.

Susan - you're sounding so up and positive today. I'm glad you're feeling better. Maybe those few minutes of time every day with your feet up, a good book in one hand, and a nice cuppa tea in the other is just the thing you need. Whatever it is, I'm happy for you. (And although I'm sure it's not the kind of surprise you want to tell stories about, I'm still smiling at your tales of Dumpster-Diver Dog).

A productive day here for me too. Did my usual house cleaning and laundry. Did my 2 mile Walk Away the Pounds tape, and some floor exercises. Journeled my food and water and I am at 19 points now. So desert will most likely be some watermelon or some strawberries. Went with Robbie to BJ's wholesale club and bought some stuff for Bill and grabed a few things for us too. Bought a 50 pound bucket of cholorine tablets for $69.99, that stuff is expensive.

My food intake for the day was as follows:

BREAKFAST - Hot tea with skim milk (1/2 a point), 1 cup of Puffins Cereal with skim milk (2 points)

SNACK - Low Fat (2%) String Cheese (1 point)

LUNCH - Won Ton Soup (4 points), Sliced red peppers (0 points)

DINNER - Broiled Salmon (7 points), Steamed Broccoli (0 points), 1/2 cup Rice Pilaf (5 points)

Not to bad!

My 'thrilling Tuesday' was a very ordinary one.

Yesterday was a great day for exercise. I ate well most of the day and then went for a good walk in the evening. Today was a different story. We had some high powered company people taking all the dept heads out to lunch today at the nursing home. It really affected the routine of work. This evening when I got home, my husband was having problems at the shop with a computer and so I went down there to help him out. There was a little shower outside while I was inside, so that took care of my walk for the day. Oh well, we needed that shower. Tomorrow is another day.

Hey, at least you had a good day yesterday, and you had good intentions today. I bet tomorrow will be good too.

Rhonda, I agree.

We were all so excited at the nursing home today with the Corporate People coming. Our boss was really hyper. Instead of announcing over the intercom for all Dept Heads to come to the Nurses Station, she announced for all Dept Heads to come to the NERVOUS Station! The whole building was chuckling over that.

I work here in town tomorrow and don't commute so I'll have time to get in a nice walk! I'm thinking I'm caught up in my work for a day or so at the shop, so I won't be working at high speed. It should be a good day tomorrow.

I guess it's time I posted to my own post! No thrills for the day but it was a good day. Work was busy but not chaotic like yesterday. There was no dumpster diving by a certain dog. We had a nice walk after dinner and I will say I didn't want to tutor this evening. I wasn't very prepared but it turned out to be a really good session. The sugar gremlins were out and I didn't totally escape them but did get away with minimal damage! Got home and did one of my WATP videos and it was just right for this evening. I'm now now showered and back to smelling fresh as a daisy and ready for bed. Up past my bedtime but on my new schedule I can afford myself a little extra sleep time tomorrow!
