Some of these are based on things we've discussed this week.

1. What's your idea of the ideal outfit for traveling by plane?

2. What's your idea of the ideal outfit for sightseeing in the fall?

3. What's your current favorite brand of jeans?

4. What colors do you look best in?

5. Do you have a favorite poem from childhood (or now)? If so, can you post it?

Some of these are based on things we've discussed this week.

1. What's your idea of the ideal outfit for traveling by plane?

comfy long waistless cotton dress, topped by a sweater or cardigan, socks and comfortable walking shoes.

2. What's your idea of the ideal outfit for sightseeing in the fall?

sightseeing? skirt, blouse or tshirt, cardigan.

3. What's your current favorite brand of jeans?

thriftstore

4. What colors do you look best in?

red, pink, mauve, taupe, aubergine

5. Do you have a favorite poem from childhood (or now)? If so, can you post it?

one of my favorites in my youth:

The Brain -- is wider than the Sky --

For -- put them side by side --

The one the other will contain

With ease -- and You -- beside --

The Brain is deeper than the sea --

For -- hold them -- Blue to Blue --

The one the other will absorb --

As Sponges -- Buckets -- do --

The Brain is just the weight of God --

For -- Heft them -- Pound for Pound --

And they will differ -- if they do --

As Syllable from Sound --

-- Emily Dickinson

and my current favorite:

all which isn't singing is mere talking

and all talking's talking to oneself

(whether that oneself be sought or seeking

master or disciple sheep or wolf)

gush to it as diety or devil

-toss in sobs and reasons threats and smiles

name it cruel fair or blessed evil-

it is you (ne i)nobody else

drive dumb mankind dizzy with haranguing

-you are deafened every mother's son-

all is merely talk which isn't singing

and all talking's to oneself alone

but the very song of(as mountains

feel and lovers)singing is silence
