How was your Monday? Was it a day full of madness or were you on a mission? If you had a tough day physically and/or did you treat yourself to some TLC? Or did you attack the tough day with a vengenance?

I guess I could view my day both ways. I was definitely on a mission to eat better and to get a good workout in and I can say mission accomplished on both of those fronts. Breakfast was my favorite Vanilla Special K with strawberries and blueberries, mid morning was raisins and nuts, lunch was healthy choice garden vegetable soup some swiss cheese cubes and low sodium wheat thins, mid afternoon was Lite and Fit vanilla yogart with strawberries and dinner was a conglomeration of leftover bbq items from the weekend with a big salad. I had a nice post dinner walk with Otto that consisted of some brisk walking combined with sniffing the same blade of grass for what seemed like forever! Logged a little over 4 miles on the exercise bike and then did my weights and some ab work. I'm now waiting for my turn in the shower and think I'll be about ready for bed after that. The day did have it's maddening moments at work. I was the lone support staff this afternoon and that's always a challenge and of course a day with Sunshine always presents it's maddening moments!

Hope you have had a good Monday!

Managed to get some stuff done, like paying bills, an order in to Penzey's spices, photos scanned, and some other errands run. Allison wanted to visit the mall for no particular reason... so we went! Indulged in a bit o' chocolate at a candy store.

We had leftovers today for lunch, which is when I had pasta stuffed shells, thus catch-as-catch-can for dinner. I had cereal, and I'm about to have some fruit or a salad. Had to drag Allison by the ears to get her to clean up her toys from the computer room and kitchen. (She knows that I if I end up picking up her things because she's fussing too much, I'll put 'em in a box and store them in the attic - and she has to "earn" them back.) I finally got a workout in, my LB workout from the Body Sculpt tape, and abs work. A bit shorter, but better than nothing. I made the abs work intense!

Now to relax with hubby!

I was a 'woman on a mission' today.
