Wild and Wonderful Wednesday Winds Ups

How did your day go? Was it wild, or wonderful or maybe a little bit of both? Were Workouts and good eating a part of your day? Or perhaps a nice relaxing sit back and smell the roses kind of day? Rhonda I hope this day found you feeling a little better and that you're taking it easy.

I walked right into a hornets nest this morning. Much to much testerone flying about and apparently the estrogen levels were too since there was a bit of a verbal chick fight. Poor part time girl was sitting between the two of them ducking for cover and I gladly took a pile of the dreaded filing and headed for the file room to keep out of the line of fire! Tension was a bit steep to say the least. But the day is over and mighty glad of it. DH's doctor called and said the dr was running about an hour behind schedule which I guess is a good thing so we're not sitting around the office for an extra hour. Hope when we do get there it's not a long wait since DH is very anxious to get this over with. Not planning on a workout this evening but since I'm off tomorrow I'll be able to get something in tomorrow AM. Eating has been good, water consumption not so great but all in all a pretty good day.

Hope yours has been a good one!

Spent the morning in a focus group for the YWCA getting our opins on their capital campaign.

I hope that she will tone down her tirades a bit after this.

Poor Rob!!! I can't believe she has been so rude to him all of this time - I don't understand some people!!! You're such a good mom to take up for you (and your rules which are all that matter) and him. I don't blame you one bit for writing her a letter!

My ds' friend regularly talks my ds into spur of the moment stuff & I have never chewed either the friend or his mom out for that - my ds has free will and he knows better than to run off & not call me! I chew ds out for it but no one else. I don't understand people that get onto other people's kids for no good reason! I'm sure you're right about her - she is just resentful that she and her kids can't do as much since her divorce.

Good luck with this situation.

Hope you get better soon, Rhonda!

Well, it was a busy day for me! I've also been checking on flights from our local airport (so I won't have to drive to Dallas & pay high parking) to Newark to visit my Mom this fall. I hope I can swing it as I haven't seen her since May 2001.

Got my Firm total body weights workout and Firm abs videos in today - killer!!! Eating was good, too.

Tomorrow, it's a big cardio day for me & I better wake up early!

Hope you all had a wonderful Wednesday. Good luck, Susan, with dh's doctor's apptmt.

Rob has been kind of puzzled as to what she has against him and why she seems to single him out. It's very uncomfortable for him to be put on the spot and have been taught not to be disrepectful to adults. Makes it hard to defend yourself. He likes her son, but can't stand her, which is pretty much the general consensus for most of his friends and their parents. When the friend whose parents have the skateboard ramp found out about the letter, their reaction was, "It's about time someone told off that b*t*h!!"

We're tough enough on Rob that if he does something wrong I want to know about it, and he is talked to and/or punished accordingly. Also, he's very open with me and often tells me if there's a problem before it arises, such as with his math teacher last year. I think he realizes by now that he may get in trouble for doing something wrong, but he'll get in a LOT more if he lies about it and we feel we can't trust him.

This woman had problems before, which is why I'm sure her husband finally had to get away from her. I used to feel sorry for her and try to be her friend, but it

Looks as though Annie is learning her lesson, I'm happy to see.

Wow! You were a real dynamo today. You will have to go back to work to get some rest.

Mom had asked what part of TX you're in. She has a cousin out there somewhere (guess I do too ;-). I couldn't remember.
