Sagging Skin after Weight Loss......

First off sorry for the cl hat; a glitch won't

let me take it off....arrgggghhh!

Anyway, I was wondering how one can prevent

sagging skin after weight loss.

Does that happen with fast weight loss, or

is that prevented by losing just a pound or two

a week, which is my rate for now.

I look forward to the answers.

Thanks so much!

always,

.

Sorry, don't know much about this. But I would say slow weight loss is always better. And also doing weight workouts will probably help with toning up.Congratualtions on your weight loss.Hope you'll post with us again.

I have to admit that I don't know about that, either.

If you are a younger person it's possible that your skin will be elastic enough to not sag after a weight loss. It depends on how old you are and how long you've been overweight. Slow weight loss helps but isn't a guarantee.

I've lost 120 pounds and have sagging skin all over -- belly, upper thighs, under arms. I am 45 and was overweight for a long time.

However, I am happy with how I look with clothes on and wouldn't trade that for anything. I am also scheduled to have a tummy tuck this year to remove the belly skin so that will help. I will do it only because insurance will cover it otherwise I would still be happy with my results.

I still have 30 pounds before I get to goal and those 30 pounds will be the hardest, I think!!!

Thank you, gals. I gained the extra

wt 2 years ago and don't have as much

to lose as others, but I always had

that question in my head. I hope it

does not show in the face (sagging).

Thanks again!

Hugs,

.

If you don't have a mega amount to lose then you might be ok. I don't have any sagging in my face, just a little at the neck. Good luck to you!!
