with another slip of paper to go for another test. Apparently the appearance of Aunt Flo at the beginning of June was not considered normal which I really didn't consider normal either and it's what prompted the scheduling of this appointment. I'll be going for a pelvic sonogram next week and get to drink 24 oz of water at least 90 minutes before the schedule of the test. That should be interesting! Anyway based on those results she'll see if I need to have a D&C or biopsy. I have to say everyone thinks I'm being a little too nonchalant about the whole thing and maybe I am. I can't say that I wanted to hear about any more tests but I guess I wasn't totally surprised since I didn't think the whole thing was entirely normal, although it very well may be that it's nothing. So that's the avenue I've chosen and if it's something then I'll deal with it when I have to. I love this doctor. She's the dr that has been so wonderful with my DD this past year and she is so personable. I also found out that my primary doctor is also her primary doctor and DD's primary is a patient of this gyn. So I feel I'm in very capable hands and feel confident and comfortable with her.

You do seem very calm about it all but that is a good thing. If you have to go thru another test then I hope this is the one that finds the answers to the fatigue, swelling and pain you've had.It is wonderful that you like the dr so much.I think that is so important.Good luck and please let us know how things go.

It sounds like you've found the kind of doctor we all hope to have. I'm going to say a little prayer for a good outcome on your test next week, and for you to keep that healthy mental outlook. You're not being nonchalant; you're being sensible about not wasting time worrying when there's no solid reason to worry. Take care, enjoy your weekend, and get ready to pass that test!

New to the group

I think you have the right attitude about this. "If you think positive it will be positive". It sounds like your around a great group of people who know each other well.

So, I would agree that you are in very capable hands. Things will be fine and again keep your attitude about this. Save the stress for later or until it's needed.

With friends it's never needed.

Non-chalant? Nah, if it takes one more test to get to the bottom of this after all the tests you've had, I think that's how you've got to look at it.

Glad you like your doc.
